The long windows that lined the throne room were all covered, making it unusually dark. Lit candle stands led the way to the throne, and four chairs that sat across from it. Amara kept her composure, but she'd seen too many horror movies to feel at ease in the slightest.
Standing behind one of the four chairs, Amara waited for Marco to take his seat before presuming where she was sitting. Once he'd gotten comfortable, the Alconian King waved his hand at the chairs, and motioned for them to sit. The Kings of Ruscovic and Sync stood at his sides, which confused Amara slightly.
Lawrence made sense to her, but seeing Sync's King also at his side made it obvious that the three had a previously-established understanding of some sort.
