Basketball is a sport usually play by boys or men, it is not typically play by girls. But Tsukihara Izumi is different, she is an ace player since elementary. She is fond of playing basketball since she was a child. Her interest is different from other girls so her friends are all guys. Those guys are consistently place in mythical five of basketball team since elementary.
Nishikado Kyo calls by his friends Nishi, a 6 foot tall guy, he is the center of the basketball team. He is very popular to all the girls not because of his basketball skills but because of his looks. His dark blue hair that suits his blue eyes. He loves to help specially the girls because in his mind, girls are weak and in need of help of a boys. Except Izumi--- he doesn't see Izumi as a girl because she is tomboyish.
Saiki Tomo calls by his friends Saiki, 5'11 tall, point guard. He is a big energetic guy same with Nishi. He is very playful and loud. His dark green hair almost cover his eyes but when in game he is wearing a headband. His eyes are always sparkling as if he is always seeing the most wonderful things in the world. He is also handsome and popular to girls.
Haruka Ren calls by his friends Haru, 6 foot tall, forward. An ace player. He is the most popular. The girls call him Prince because he is almost prefect. His white ivory hair matches his gray wide eyes, a perfect pointed nose and red lips. Every girls is crazy over him,he is shining like a sun, inside and outside the court.
Their school in Junior High were very popular especially in Basketball Boys and Basketball Girls. The four of them wanted to continue playing basketball until highschool. They are aiming to join the Okino High, it has a good reputation when it comes to basketball.
But suddenly, everything has change...
While playing their usual 2 on2 basketball game, Tsukihara suddenly stops.
"I will go to Honu High..." Tsukihara says while holding the ball.
Saiki sat on the floor, "Yeah Honu High has a high reputation when it comes to sports----- what? Wait! Did you say Honu High? Not Okino?" Saiki almost drop his jaw in surprise.
"The three of us (talking about them - Saiki, Haru and him) wanted to join Okino High because of you. We thought you wanted to continue playing basketball? Because if it's not for you-we will join Honu High team since they are number one in the basketball here in Japan." Nishi said with a concern look.
They know how much Tsukihara loves basketball that's why they are all surprised. Honu High is number one school when it comes to sports. But they don't have a basketball girl team. So if she will go to Honu, it means she will quit playing basketball.
"Hey Haru, say something." Nishi blabs.
Haru looks at Tsukihara. "Hey Tsuki, I think I know the reason..." he smiles.
"Waaahhh what is it? Tell us! Tell us!" Nishi and Saiki shouts out of curiosity.
Tsukihara smile back at Haru, "That's why you're the semi idiot here"
(Tsukihara calls Saiki the "very idiot", Nishi "idiot" and Haru as "semi idiot".)
Tsukihara took a deep breath, and start to explain why she wanted to quit basketball.
"I wanted to start a new life. I mean look at me, I'm starting to make my hair grow longer." Her hair since she was a child is short, a bob cut hair. "I am now using a conditioner for my hair."
"Oh that's why you always smell good." Saiki said. Haru looks at Saiki as if Saiki is a pervert.
"And I'm learning how to put make up!" Tsuki said while her two hands are on her face.
"I do not understand." Nishi said with a blank face.
"Me too." Saiki's second the motion.
"You guys are really idiot!!!!", Tsuki shouts, then she paseds the ball to Haru.
"I want to be a girl! I mean... I want to act like a girl, I want to have a female friends. I want to be a normal girl, a normal high school girl."
The three boys look at her without saying anything...
Then Haru broke the silence. "Is it because there's a guy you like?"
Tsuki blush, but she didn't say anything to the three guys.
