Zachs Pov
As I was writing my notes down for my second class which is algebra when I began to feel the urge to need to use the restroom so I put my pencil down and raised my hand. As soon as my hand shot up everyone turned and looked at, damn.
"Yes, Zachary?" Mr. Killian asked. "Can I use the restroom?" I asked her. "Yes Zachary," he said before turning back around to the board.
I picked Allie up and gave her to Ivy which she happily took Allie into her arms. I stood up and headed out the classroom down the halls looking for a restroom.
When I finally found one I walked in only to see two guys beating the shit out of some kid.
Once the two guys noticed I was there they stopped attacking the kid and looked at me. "What the hell are doing in here'' one of the guys yelled at me.
"I was just trying to mind my business and use the restroom when I stumbled upon this," I said as I look down at the kid on the floor. "Well go mine your damn bussing else whereas you can see we're busy with this little Faggot.
Ignoring them as I walked over to the kid and bent down on one knee. "Hey are you okay," I asked in a concerned tone. "I'll be okay, should leave though," he said trying to sit up but couldn't as the other guy put his foot on his back.
"Hey, get your big musty ass foot off him," I say pushing the guy's foot off the boy.
"Who do you think you're taking too," the smaller dude said as he stepped forward. I just rolled my eyes and grabbed the kid's hand him up and walking right passed them.
Once we were out in the hallway the kid began to yell at me. "Why the fuck would you do that, now they're going to come after you."
"Who were those douche bags anyway?" I asked ignoring his sudden outburst." That was Axel Jones and Ryder Cohen. They're on the school football team.
Everyone knows not to get on their bad side, are you asking for a death wish or something?
"I apologize, I was just trying to help you out, My name is Zachary but you can call me Zach, I'm new here," I say scratching the back of my neck awkwardly. "Well that makes sense he said quietly.
"So what's your name?" I asked curiously with my hand out. "My name's Conrad O'Neil," he says shaking my hand.
"Well Zach I have to get back to class, I'll see you at and thanks for helping me," Conrad said as he walked off not before giving me a small wave. I smiled as I walked back to my class forgetting all about my blatter.
When I re-entered the class everyone turned and looked at me again. I sighed ignoring the many types of stares I was receiving as I walked back to my seat.
"Hey baby" I whispered to Allie as I picked her upsetting her back down on my lap. "What took you so damn long," Ivy whispered. "I got I lied. She nodded her head then went back to taking the notes.
About thirty minutes later the bell ringed signaling the next period. I gathered up all my things and headed to my next period with Ivy.
As we were walking through the halls we got a lot of different stares which didn't bother me as much this time.
"Hey do know where my locker is?" I asked Ivy. "What's your locker number," she asked. "407," I said. We then began walking to my locker. When we reached my locker I handed Allie to Ivy and opened it putting some things in there.
When I was done I shut the locker and grabbed Allie back from her arms.
Next thing I know I hear my name being called I look behind me to see Jacob and Lucas walking towards me attracting more unwanted attention. "Hey Zach, he princess," Jacob said.
"Hey, guys hows your first day so far?" I asked as I began walking with Ivy to our next class as they followed behind.
"It actually been really great," Lucas said making me smirk. I told you it wasn't going to be that bad," I say. "Hey can I hold Allie," Jacob said reaching his hands out. I handed Allie to Jacob then looked over at Ivy.
"So tell me a little more about yourself," I say my attention now on Ivy as we continue walking.
"Well, I moved here six years ago with my father and little brother. "My mom left shortly after my brother was born she said with a sad look. "I'm sorry to he- Before I could finish someone jumped on Ivy wrapping their limbs around her body almost causing them to fall.
Once Ivy regained her balance she looked at the girl then kissed her on the lips, Ivy turned to me smiling and said
"Zach meet my girlfriend Alexis," Ivy said chuckling.
