Chrysalis POV
I've been out of the loop since I was making sure there weren't anymore shadows in this castle, celestia isn't the only immortal who knows solar spells
"Now where are those annoying elements so I can help with planning and su-" I didn't even get to finish after a wave of complex emotion just came gushing out of what I can assume was the map room, since that's where they gather when something bad happens
"Rainbow dash!!!!" I heard yelling to whom sounded like rarity
"You simply can't tell her that she has a crush on Jordan!!!!" Rarity exclaimed
As soon as she said that, a huge wave of emotion just came from the door as I opened it, it was coming from Applejack
"That's enough!!!" I yelled, they all looked at me, I pinched my forehead with my thumb and index finger
"Honestly your yelling and your love struckness is tiring and nauseating at the same time" I said trying to keep my lunch down
"Now can some creature tell me what in Tartarus is happening!!!!!" I yelled looking at twilight sparkle
Twilight said that the crystal empire was taken over by nightmare moon and the pink one gone over to Applejack to comfort her
"Where's that other girl, is she still on recon or simply avoiding her crush?" I asked pointing at Applejack
"She... she got taken.... she got taken by nightmare moon, she's one of them, we don't know if she's alright or not, AJ saw the whole thing and is traumatized by it" twilight sparkle said hesitantly
"I see, huh, hmmm, ms. Sparkle, how are the castle defenses and detection spells?" I asked as I looked up to who I think I know who is on the ceiling
"Huh, ummm, they are heavy duty spells that can detect any creature with any ill will or is trying to do harm to us, why?" She asked as she also looked up at the ceiling to see what I was seeing
"Because it seems we have an eavesdropper, don't make any sudden sounds or movements that will alarm them" I said as I prepared a solar spell in my hand to not arouse suspicion from our little guest
"Who is it? And more importantly how did they get in with out setting off one of my spells" twilight asked in a panic whisper
I looked up and it seems not focused on us, it seems to be focus on some creature near the map
'It couldn't be, if it is, then we might be able to save her right here and now. I need a distraction so the nightmare doesn't look this way' I thought to myself
"Twilight, I need you over at the map and create a distraction so it'll only focus on you and your friends. When it has its eyes on you I'll blast it, I need three minutes to fully charge my spell" I said in a whisper
"Wait what, distraction, are you sure I shouldn't help you prepare or better yet prepare with you?" Twilight asked as she panicked
"Calmed down will you, or do you want that nightmare to know we are on to it" I said knowing the answer already
As twilight went to her friends in what I think she thought was a calm manner, I kept my eye on the intruder and made sure it wasn't looking at me
'Now or never' I whispered to myself, I started the flow the magic from my horn to my hand as subtlety as I could
"Hey girls we need to think up a strategy against nightmare moon, and make sure that everyone can hear we should pro-" twilight was cut off by my spell shooting off towards the shadow
"What in the Tartarus are you doing chrysalis, why did you shoot at the freakin ceiling, you could've-" rainbow dash was interrupted because the nightmare I shot at fell down on its side. she looked down at it in surprise and before she could say anything it jumped up at Applejack then tackled her down at the ground
"AHHH, can some creature help me, right now would be good" Applejack said in her annoying country accent, 'like honestly can't she learn to speak like every creature else' I thought
"Get off of her this instant you ruffian" rarity said while charging her magic to levitate her off of Applejack
AJ's POV
Rarity tried to pull the nightmare off of me, but she couldn't
"Twi, now would be a really good time to use yur magic on this nightmare, like for instance blasting it off of me" Ah said with panic and anger in my voice for how long it's taking for them to get this thing off of me
"Alright that's enough, holy sun blast" said chrysalis as she blasted the nightmare off of me and the poor creature that was being controlled by it
"There, that should get the nightmare off of Jordan, now if you'll excuse me I need to replenish me magic" chrysalis said as she walked out as everypony was processing what she said
Ah looked down and as sure as chrysalis said, it was Jordan, she's alive, I can't believe it, I hugged her close to me and cried into her shoulder
"Uuugghhhhhhh, did any creature get the name of that thing that hit me, and what shot me" Jordan said as she woke up in my arms
"Jordan, Jordan, stay with us, she's still bleedin, twi please help" Ah pleaded with twi
"Ok AJ, get her to my room quickly" twi said as she began to summon some first aid and surgical tools
Omni POV
As the ponies in the castle prepare for a emergency surgery, something was on the outskirts of ponyville
"Well, well, Well, well, looks like my scheme is having more and more problems than it should, I think it's time I finish them off once and for all" said nightmare moon
As she said that thousands upon thousands of nightmares that had the same likeness of Jordan and had her same abilities
"I only needed her for a short time anyway, you can have her back anyway, I have all I need from her blood" nightmare moon said as she began to laugh a maniacal laughter
In the capital of equestrian, in the heart of cantorlot, the princesses are almost ready to wage war against the nightmare moon.
"Have we prepared for everything sister, have we enough solar guards and do we have enough solar spells" Celestia worried aloud
"Yes Tia, I also armed my lunar guard with nightmare protection magic, this may be the biggest battle we have face in the crystal empire. Have you told twilight and her friends that they may be force to use the elements of harmony on cadence and flurry heart" Luna said with caution and sorrow in her voice
"I have, they... didn't take the news well, how did this happen, who did nightmare take over, and what has happen to the pony inside her to feel such despair" tia asked her voice grow more and more exhausted with grief.

Jordans POV
Day 1 of turning nightmare
Darkness. All I see is darkness. Nothing but darkness. 'Where am I?' 'what's happening?' 'Why can't I sense anything?', I couldn't see, hear, smell, or even feel anything, hold on, I'm feeling something, I feel tired, why do I feel so tired, aren't I dead or in a coma, but if I am, then why aren't I dreaming of a best life or at least my worst nightmare.
Day 2 of T.N
Why do my hands feel wet, why does it smell like iron.. no it smells like... like...like blood
Come on, wake up, I need to see what's happening!!!
I finally saw something, it was red, it smelled like blood, no not like blood, it is blood
I tried to look who's blood I had on my hands, it was a guard pony's blood
"P-p-plea-se, help u-u-us" the pony bleeding out said below me
"There's no help where y'all are going, So I'm going to make sure you don't have to live this pitiful existence anymore" a voice that wasn't mine said in a demonic tone
'That wasn't me, but it came from my mouth, what is happening, I have to take back control, why can't I stop this' I thought as I struggled to regain control of my body
Day 7 of T.N
It's been days since I last saw of anything, I can still feel and smell, sometimes I can hear what's my body is doing, but not much, I need to focus and make sure no one I know is dying or dead
I hear muffled voices until it came out clear 3 seconds later
"Now, will tell me where did you send them, where did you send flurryheart, I know you send her off and have that fake one with you" A voice that I recognize as the one who killed me said "Did you really think I wouldn't notice a great lack of magical energy in this castle, and this plushie that sounds like her isn't that convincing" her voice was getting quieter and quieter until I couldn't hear anything they said
As I faded out, I could've sworn I heard a a country accent
Day 14 of T.N
I haven't seen anything since that day in the crystal empire, I was so tired, I feel like I loss some blood, but also I haven't, how long has it been since I died in the forest
"Hey girls we need to think up a strategy against nightmare moon, and make sure that everyone can hear we should pro-" a voice said before I got shot with what I can assume was a solar spell because it was burning like Tartarus
That blast knocked me out of wherever I was and I fell to the ground on my side, the blast knocked me enough where I can gain enough control to see
I saw AJ and I wanted to go to her and hug her that she's ok, but before I knew she was pushing me off of her and the next thing I knew I was blasted off of her and the parasite was off of me, I feel drained and wet, is that my blood
"Uuugghhhhhhh, did any creature get the name of that thing that hit me, and what shot me" I said as I looked up to AJ, she was crying, I hate it when a beautiful woman cries
Random background character POV
It was beginning to turn dark, I should probably get back home to derpy and dinky, I hope everything's alright
"Maybe I'll take derpy and dinky on an adventure to see something amazing" I said as I looked at my watch
"Great wickering stallions, it should still be day time, I thought it was a little early for the sun to go down" I said as I look back and forth from my watch to the sky
As I'd looked up I saw something that resembled a dragon, but it had star like scales, never seen or even heard of such a dragon like that
I better go back and tell derpy to tell star sapphire that we need a last minute babysitter, because we got a adventure that raises some questions
"Doctor, did you see that thing in the sky, I almost couldn't see it since it was getting dark" derpy said in the door way wearing gray-ish blue polo shirt with a white collar and a light green jean
"Yes I saw it, we need to call sapphire so she can watch over dinky, we need to investigate this, you ready" I looked at derpy in her wonderful eyes as they stare at two different directions
"Always, sapphire was already inside when dinky got home from school so we should be fine" derpy said with determination on her face
I went inside to get my sonic screwdriver, and my trench coat, I was wearing a stylish white bottom up shirt with a brown vest and a brown tie over the shirt, I was wearing a brown pinstripe blazer over my vest and brown pinstripe pantsuit
"Ready derpy!! The games afoot" I said excitedly as I put on my light brown trench coat and ran off with ditzy 'derpy' hooves
Chrysalis POV
I was laying down on the guest bed because I was exhausted from the complex emotions that those 8 were giving off
"Why do ponies have to be idiots when it comes to there love, it's like it's a goal that isn't attainable" I said to myself as I put my arm over my head to cover my eyes
"I almost miss challenging those oafs to a duel or threatening them, but I made a truce with them so I'll have to settle with watching them conflict with there emotions, not as fun but it'll do" I said as I sat up with an ear to the air
Something isn't right, the air, it's too quiet, there isn't even a buzz of an insect
"I need to get to twilight now" I said as I ran outside of the guest room to the map room as quick as I can
"Twilight!!! Twilight!! TWILIGHT!" I yelled as I was looking for twilight and her friends
When I arrived I saw that Jordan girl unconscious and having stitches put in her as she was barely bleeding out now
"Twilight, I'm sensing something is coming, it's the same when Jordan was under nightmares control, we need to take action before she gets here" I said walking towards her and Her friends
Twilight looked at me with worry and then at Jordan, when finally looking at Applejack
"I'll go see what's happening and make sure it's far away from here, if we're fighting against who I think it is, we're going to need her" I said as I started to fly out of there
I looked over the night sky and realized that it was too early for night time, there's only one other creature that can do that, and I'm not thinking of Luna
Jordan POV
It was dark and cold, and I'm in some serious pain, ugghhhh, this hurts so much, I don't think I can move for a day, or for the rest of my life
"She's moving, she's waking up" a voice that sounded familiar said
"Are ya sure twi, how can ya tell" an accent I can tell from anywhere said
"Her eyes are opening and she's moving a bit, come and see for yourself AJ" the voice I now recognize as twilight said
I open my eyes slowly and painfully, it felt like I was run over by rhinos, trucks, and what I feel like twenty tanks
I opened my to see twilight and AJ looking down at me with worry and relief in their eyes and demeanor
"So, how long have I been out, and wasn't I technically dead, answer the latter first please" I asked my friends
"Ya'll've been out for about a day, but ya'll've been gone for about two weeks, Ah saw you die right in front of me, how are ya'll still alive" AJ said while hugging me which hurt a lot but I held back the scream, is what I kept telling myself but actually I was whimpering and screeching like a banshee
"Ooh, sorry there Jordan, got a little excited there" AJ said as she scratched the back of her head blushing a bit
"It's alright, I'm sure my bag has something that'll help with my injures and heal me up enough so I can move" I said as I try to sit up right, but it was so painful that I nearly fallen back down
AJ caught me before I hit the table I'm still laying on. I looked around and I saw that we're in the cutie map room
"Heh, about that, Ah lost ya'll's bags when Ah got back from the forest, and Ah'm sure zecora took it because she thought it would to dangerous to have it laying around, sorry" AJ said a bit abashed and embarrassed
"It's alright, it just mean I can get a month off and start relaxing a bit, I'm sure it's not that bad" I said as I'm being supported be AJ and walking to the coach that's in there
I really did meant what I said, I could really take a month off after doing this whole adventure, I think I got more cuts and abrasions then that time I went to the land of Ooo during that war with that giant red four face thing
"So how did you survive from being stabbed through the abdomen and how have you not been bleeding out for two weeks?" twilight said with concern and softness in her voice
"I'm guessing while the nightmare was on me was keeping me alive and kept my body from bleeding" I said hoping my pain will soon pass
"You should rest while we catch up with chrysalis, she sensed something and I checked outside just before you woke up, it was already dark, it's only 3:50 in the afternoon" twilight said as she changed my bandages
"That's weird, and it looks like I'm still in the clothes I was killed in, I really need to change, I'm pretty sure I left some clothes behind just in case I survived and the clothes that I was wearing were torn up in the battle" I said trying to remember if I did or not
AJ walk out of the room to what I'm thinking is where I first changed and she saw me changed, it was rather embarrassing
So much so that I started blushing beet red of the memory, she came back a few minutes later with clothes that match my skin, hair and eyes
"Thanks AJ, I knew I left some clothes behind, I guess I should wear them and get out of these rags" I said as I tried to reach for them, but as soon as I did AJ took a step back with a stern angry look on her face
"Umm, AJ I kinda need them so I can help, if this is a joke haha it's pretty funny, but seriously I need them" I said trying to reach them again, but she moved back again at the same time
"Are ya'll really trying to go back out there!!!!After what happen!!!! Ya'll almost died Jordan!!! Ah saw ya'll die as ya'll protected me from nightmare moon!!!!" AJ yelled at me while cry as she tighten her grip on my battle clothes
"AJ I-" I didn't even got to finish as she spoke over me
"Ah can't just stand by and know that ya'll are in no condition to fight, much less walk, ya'll'er going to die if ya'll go out there and fight!!!!! Y'all have to know this!!!" AJ still yelling said to me
"AJ!! I do know and that's why I have to fight, because if I don't you'll be the one that will die!!" I said yelling at her while trying to get up
"If I don't go out there to help or even offer support or provide shielding, you girls will die, and I can't live knowing that I could've done something if I'm just sitting here doing nothing!!!!" I yelled at AJ telling her why I couldn't just stand by, not again, not after what happened last time
"Ah don't want ya'll to die, and I will tie you down to keep it that way, don't think I won't!!!!" AJ yelled while grabbing her lasso behind her with one arm while holding my clothes in her other arm
"As if I'm going to stay still long enough for you to even try" I said as I try to transform into my dragon form, but surprisingly it didn't work
"Wha-what, why can't I transform, uggh, and why do I feel all woozy" I started to kneel and I turn around to see twilight casting a spell to what I guess that made me either fall asleep or knock me out
"D-dang it" I said before I slipped into unconsciousness
AJ POV
Thank goodness twilight was able to do that, Ah didn't know if Ah should tie her up just in case it would've reopen her stitches
Ah sat Jordan's clothes on the cutie map and turned to pick Jordan up and put her on the couch
Ah sat her upright so she isn't in anyone's way since she was by the doors when she fell
"Thanks twilight, Ah didn't know what to do if she did cane at me in her condition, by the way where did you learn that sleepin spell?" Ah asked wondering when she learned it
"Oh that, I learned it whenever I was too worked up after reading a great book or when spike wouldn't go to sleep and stay up late eating gems or reading comic books" twilight said looking up as if remembering the time those things happen
"Speakin of spike, where is the little guy, we should probably tell the girls and spike that Jordan is ok" Ah said as Ah adjusted mah hat
Me and twi walked out of the map room and went to look for the girls and spike, we looked in the main lobby to see all of them waiting on us, but something was wrong
"Hey girls, what seems to be the problem, and where's chrysalis, shouldn't be back by now" twi said looking around for chrysalis
"She isn't back there with you? We all thought she was already back and was back there helping you with Jordan" Rar's said all worried
"I'll go see if I can use my tracking spell on chrysalis to see if she's near by or not" twi said as she ran back into the cutie map room
"So how's Jordan, is she doing better, we heard yelling and we didn't want to intrude" Rar's said with a look of even more worry
"She's doin Fine, we had to knock her out because she was gettin a bit too rowdy and it would've reopened her stitches" Ah said tellin most of the truth
"There's something else isn't there, what aren't you telling us AJ, your making that face when you're telling lies or not the full truth" pinkie pie said as she came out of mah hat and on to the floor in front of me
"Yeah AJ, what aren't you tellin us, we all heard yelling, and I don't think it was a panic scream, it was arguing screaming" rainbow dash said landing beside me
"She... she tried to get back out there and help us fight" Ah said rubbing mah arm as mah other stayed at my side
"Ah tried to convince her to stay and rest and that we'll take care of everything, then she tried to stand up and fight me, Ah tried to tie her up, but Ah couldn't because of her stitches" Ah said hugging myself
"It's a good thing twilight knows that sleep spell from when she was little, or it would've been worse for Jordan" Ah said on the verge of cryin
"Hey, hey, hey, AJ it's alright, we understand, we would've done the same thing if we were in your position" RD said
RD patted mah back as the others came around to hug me until we all heard a scream that sounded like twilights
"Twi, what's happenin, are you alright" Ah yelled as Ah ran towards the map room where twi was
"It's Jordan, she's not here anymore, my sleep spell shouldn't have worn off that quickly, and my detection spell would've sound an alarm if there was an nightmare or any pony else who entered with out my permission" twi said as she was spiraling out of control
"Twi, twi, twi!!!! What happen, where's Jordan" Ah asked looking around for her
"I don't know, when I came back she was gone, she somehow got out without anypony noticing" twi said tryin to figure out how she got out along with mahself
Jordan's POV
Good thing twilight just did a light sleep spell instead of a deep sleep spell, other wise I would've been out during the entire fight.
Flashback to the castle
'Uugggghhhh, where am I, what am I sitting on, and why am I tied up to this very uncomfortable couch' I thought to myself
"Ok first things first, I'm still in the castle, I'm on very uncomfortable couch, and AJ ties me up because I haven't made a full recovery" I said to myself
I looked for my battle clothes and found them on the cutie map table, I made sure the bandages weren't coming off and I looked around for twilights medical kit for gauze so I can change my bandages on the go
After I changed my bandages, I put on my battle clothes, a dark forest green sleeveless shirt with a dark emerald flame logo in the middle, a dark emerald green belt with dark forest green pants with eggplant purple on the sides, eggplant purple shoes with dark emerald green straps, eggplant purple gloves with dark emerald green straps at the end, and a mostly eggplant purple long coat with dark forest green on top.
"Ok I got my battle suit on, and now it's time for me to find a way out of here without being seen or heard also I can't be detected" I said to myself
"I'll go see if I can use my tracking spell on chrysalis to see if she's near by or not" a voice that sounded like twilight said as I heard her foot steps coming
"I better hurry, let's see, if this map can track that means.."I said not finishing my sentence as I dig the inside of my pockets for a teleport ball.
'All I have to do is think of a location and go there, the outside of the castle should be good enough, I need to make sure no one left while I was knocked out' I thought to myself
I threw my ball and it showed me the front of twilights castle
End of flashback
I'm outside of twilights castle looking for a way to find my bag
"Are you looking for something my dear" a voice I annoyingly recognize said
"Still think my voice is annoying do you" discord said
I turned around to only see discord with my bag in his hand, he was smirking like he knows something about this battle that I don't
"What do you want discord, I'm trying to make sure no one is out here when the nightmares attack" I said as I try to reach for my bag but at the last second discord lifted it up all the way to the sky with his eagle talon
"You know, all of your friends are worried sick, and here you are making them think that you have a death wish, and you say you think of them as friends" discord said as he kept circling around me and flicking me on the head twice
"I do think of them as friends, and it's because of that I'll protect them, even if it kills me!!!" I yelled
"What about that huge crush on the country pony you love of so much" discord said with a little chuckle
I looked at him in surprise and anger at the same time, he was smirking like he won the conversation, I pulled out an grappling hook gun and shot it at the air and aimed for my bag
"Oh ho oh, not so fast" discord said as he retracted his arm back into him
I smirked as I have planned for him on doing this, I redirected my grappling gun by pulling it down then press a button to retract the rope back into the gun
As I did that the hook grabbed discord's hand and knocked my bag back into my hands
"Checkmate "lord of chaos" see you next time" I said as I looked for a healing, chicken???
"Did you really think it would've been that easy, now let's talk because you're about to kill your self if you continue on this path of yours" discord said as snapped his fingers and tied me up in a chair out of nowhere
"Now since I still have your bag and your not recovered enough to break out of my magic, you are going to sit there and listen!!" Discord yelled at me with his eyes glowing dangerously
"What's there to talk about, I'm going to keep my friends safe, even if they hate me in the end!!!" I yelled at discord not even scared of the lord chaos
"What's the point of having friends then if you're going to kill your self in the end, what about Applejack, twilight, spike, fluttershy, rarity, rainbow dash, or even celestia, what about them!!" Discord yelled again with his claw and paw on both sides of the chair "They just lost the crystal empire, they lost parts of their family, do you really think you're sacrifice will be any easier to them, it'll be harder because they will think it's their fault that you're going to die!!" Discord yelled as he showed me my friends and what they have lost with his magic
Twilight lost her sister-in-law, brother, and almost lost her niece, AJ thought that she had lost her friends like her parent had died, saving her from danger
"If you do this you won't only make them sad, you'll also let them think that it was their fault that you're going to die" discord said as the images fade out and it grew quiet, so quiet that you can hear grass grow
"I'll leave now, I interfere as much as I can, think about what I said as you sit there in your own guilt" discord said as he disappeared leaving my real bag in front of me
I sat there for what felt like hours, when I came to my senses I realize I wasn't really protecting my friends, I was just doing this for my own personal reasons, because of my pride was wounded
"He's right, what's the point of having friends if I just kill myself, I'm being selfish because I'm trying to avenge my broken pride" I said as I stand up and began to walk back to twilights castle and then opening the doors to only see everybody about to open the door themselves
They stared at me for a good five minutes before AJ moved towards me and slapped me in the face, I more than deserved that, it stung so bad that the air around my check made it worse
"AJ, I know what I did was suicidal and the most idiotic thing ever do-" I was interrupted by AJ pressing her lips into mine
Before I knew it I was kissing back with my arms wrapped around her back with her arms around my neck, she broke the embrace
"Don't ya ever do that again" AJ said with tears in her eyes
"After that, not ever" I said with a goofy smile and dreamy look in my eyes
"Uhhhh, we're still here guys" Rainbow dash said interrupting our moment
"Uhh right, ahem, sorry about that, let's get back to what need to do about nightmare moon and her army, I'm pretty sure they're here because it's night time already" I said a bit embarrassed because I forgot about them
"We found chrysalis, she's in the castle of the two sisters" twilight said pointing at the edge of the everfree forest
"Looks like she either got captured or is scouting the area, either way we need to get there fast before something bad happens" I said looking at the map
Chrysalis POV
I went to the everfree forest to scout out nightmare moon's castle, unlike those two I'm better for scouting
I saw the castle in sight, it was swarming with nightmares, I transform into a small blue jay and flew into the castle seemingly unnoticed by the nightmares
"Must...break...free!!!" A voice I didn't recognize spoke, it was female
"Oh no no no, I'm not letting go of you, see I need a host and your magic is pitiful so there is tons of room for my magic and for me to take control" a voice I recognize all to well, nightmare moon, said
"Why.... why me, why now, there were dozens of opportunities for you to take over, why now" said the voice
"Because, there's a greater threat that will come and I rather not fight against them" nightmare moon said with malice in her voice
"Why me, like you said I have a pathetic magic and I'm not that strong" she said heavy breathing
I flew down to get a better look, I hid behind a fallen column, looking over the column I finally saw the pony in question
She had a dark red coat with a few white spots on their body, their eyes are summer green grass color, and their mane is wild with a brown color
She was wearing a white lab coat with a black colored shirt under it, she was also wearing tight black jeans, she was wearing black converse shoes with a star on them
I can't tell how tall she from here, if I go any closer I might get seen and caught, and I rather not get captured
"Now now, don't be so sad, this whole skirmish will be done soon enough, then I can take back the body I lost to those bearers, her jealousy and hatred was so delicious and powerful" nightmare moon said with satisfactory bliss
"Now now, stop struggling, let's get on with our business" nightmare moon said as she took over the pony
'I better go back to the castle and warn the others' I thought to myself, but as I was going to fly away a nightmare saw me and thought I would've been a nice snack to eat upon
It tried to eat me but I was a better flyer, I couldn't change in the castle because nightmare moon was still there, I had to lead it out of here or escape the nightmare
I flew around the inside of the castle, I flew around the columns dodging left then right and then left again, I dove into a hole in the floor that I could fit into
The nightmare just smashed through the columns and through the floor, it followed me through the underground hallways, far from nightmare moons gaze
I turned around and transformed into a rhino and stampede into the nightmare into the opposite side of the hallway
I then transform into a boa constrictor with a pattern of yellow and brown, I wrapped around the nightmare and choked it until it passed out
"Now, I need to get back before something notices this one isn't coming back up" I said to myself as I turned into bat and flew out of the now destroyed hallway and into the night sky outside of the sisters castle
I flew as fast as I can, I transformed into an eagle so I can fly faster, I must warn my friends quickly, hopefully they're ready by now
'Huh, I called them my friends, I guess the princess of friendship is rubbing off on me' I thought to myself
Jordan POV
'What the heck is happening, the next thing I knew was AJ kissing me, then we entered the cutie map room, I'm barley keeping up with events now' I thought to myself.
"Oi, you lot, what's going on, according to my sonic this is nightmare moons magic" an earth pony in a trench coat and striped coat and pants walked in said.
"Doctor, this isn't a good time, we are preparing a full on war, and we don't have enough time to explain to you" twilight said as she looked over her map and was looking like she was strategically thinking of this so called war.
"Wait, did you say his name is the doctor?!"I asked surprised.
"Yes, do you know him" twilight said looking between me and the doctor curiously.
"Let's just say he made my job a lot harder than it should be the last time I saw him, I have to say, I didn't expect to find you here of all dimensions" I said looking at him making sure it was the same doctor.
"I don't believe we've met before, although since you used the word dimension I have to assume that you're a traveler like me, except you go looking for trouble while I just wander around for adventure" the doctor said holding out his hand for a shake.
I took the hand and shook back, he must be this dimensions doctor then, I'll admit I wasn't prepared for that revelation.
"Oi, writer we're getting off track, let's get back to the story and enough of these cameo characters, even though I do love them" pinkie said as she was talking to the ceiling while waving her arms at the doctor and the grey Pegasus.
"Uuhhhh, who is she talking to" I said looking at her and wondering if she's alright.
"We just go along with it, but she's right we're getting off track" AJ said still holding my hand.
'I'm freaking out, I mean I'm glad I finally have a relationship but I didn't think it would actually happen' I thought to myself as I kept freaking out.
"Jeez, I was gone for like what, 30 minutes and you two finally confessed to each other" chrysalis said as she flew in here in her original form.
"I guess we did, but we're still getting off track, we need to make a plan to storm nightmares castle and take on as few casualties as we can" I said as I tired to stop blushing and slammed both of my hands on the cutie map.
"Agreed, we need a way to slip under her nose and attack her before she knows what hit her" AJ said pointing at the castle of the two sisters which is now nightmares castle.
"Ok, if the princesses armies are ready when we go then we can use them as a distraction and as soon as the nightmares are distracted we go at nightmare from underground, thanks to chrysalis reconnaissance we can enter through a secret door way at the bottom of the cavern where I fell and was fighting nightmare moon" I said pulling up a map of the battle field using the cutie map.
What was on the cutie map was the inside of the castle interior and all the exits and entrances inside the catacombs to the throne room.
"We need a ground team that isn't too small nor too big, we also need a team on distraction while the ground team go in and set the plan in to action" I said while moving dots around like checker pieces.
"I'll lead the distraction team due to my injuries, is that ok AJ?" I asked hoping she would agree.
"As long ya don't go over board and directly go in head first, then ah'm fine with it" AJ said putting her hand on top of mine and staring into my eyes making sure I'm telling the truth.
"I won't if it doesn't get to bad, still no promises" I said turning my hand over to clasp around her hand as well.
"That's as much as Ah can expect from ya Ah guess" AJ said sighing in defeat at the promise.
"We're back from cantorlot and we brought reinforcements to help with everything" a dark blue alicorn said as she came in donning light blue armor similar to that of nightmare moons armor except it doesn't cover the whole face, instead it guards the sides of the face and not also covering down the middle.
"I'm guessing that you're Luna, the original host of nightmare moon" I said turning around knowing the answer.
As soon I said that AJ punches my left arm, it hurt a lot but I showed little pain, Luna was stone face as I expected of her
"Yes, I am thee, and who art thou in front of us" Luna said in her weird grammar
"You're on the ground with AJ, twilight, rarity, and fluttershy." I turned around and pointed at the individuals I was mentioning
"Me, rainbow, starlight, pinkie, and celestia are on distraction, we'll regroup as soon as the ground team are done setting up the traps and mines under the castle, after that-" I was interrupted by a the doors opening and seeing celestia at the entrance
"Sorry, it took me some time to find the support beams that hold the throne room up, here you go Jordan" celestia said handing my the blueprints
"Good, like I said earlier celestia is with rainbow, pinkie, starlight and me on distraction, we have until I give celestia the word to rise the sun up so we could go when nightmare is at her weaken state" I said as I went over the plan again
Nightmare moons head POV
'Where...where am I, what happened, how did it all end up like this, the last thing I remember is going to my therapist" I thought to myself as I was mentally chained inside this monsters mind
Flashback to three months before nightmare moons third return
It was a sunny day, there were a few clouds, but it was still clear enough that the sun was shining all over, I was inside as the sun was shining because I had the day off of work
I had my curtains close because I wanted to sleep in, but the sun shine through my curtains and it woke me up in a groggy way
"Ugggh, what time is it?" I asked to myself as I looked around for my alarm clock, I found it on the floor
It read 12:30 pm, my therapist appointment is in an hour, I needed to get ready
Unknown to me I was being watched by a shadow that wasn't my own, I didn't notice it at the time, but hind sight is a pain
I began going to a therapist because I had some, episodes in a work place and the school and my friends said I needed to see a therapist, so I looked up a good therapist and found one, I'm starting today
I put on my green jacket with two breast pockets over my black colored shirt under it, I was also wearing tight black jeans, with black converse shoes with a star on them.
I started walking then I saw some street performers playing a weird beat with drums, a piano, a drum machine, bass, a harmonica I think and a cow bell
I started to walk towards my therapist office and started to sing

Tears are falling off my face as the session was closing soon, we talked about how my childhood wasn't as good as I once thought, my relationships with everyone might have been a delusion and that my friends might not actually be my friends
As I left mrs, N. M. Moons office I wandered the streets of canterlot for a few hours until the bell rang that it was midnight and I found myself at the edge of canterlot
Where the city limits drops down to the base of the mountain it's position on, I looked down and I saw how far a drop it is
Then I began to wonder: "how fast will I fall", "will anyone really notice my disappearance", "will I really be missed by anyone", "maybe I'm really am alone, and no one really cares about me" I kept thinking to myself
"I care" I was started by a voice behind me
"I-I thought no-pony was here this late at night" I said still startled
"Well this my favorite star watching spots when all the ponies fall asleep" said the female voice
"Well, looks like I'll just go home then, you seem like a pony who doesn't want another pony interrupting your star gazing" I said to the pony not showing in the moonlight
As soon as I said that she stepped into the moonlight and I saw her as a thestral, she had a gray coat with golden slit eyes, her hair was a dark purple, she was wearing a shirt leather jacket with a cornflower blue short sleeve shirt
She had ripped dark faded purple pants, she was wearing two ear rings in her left ear, she was wearing faded blue converses like mine.
"You're not going anywhere dots" she said as she grabbed the back of my collar "what were you doing here, I can tell you don't do star gazing, and I saw you walking around town in a daze, and judging by your eyes and face, you've been crying" she said still holding the back of my collar
I looked down, not looking up even when she pulled me in front of her, I kept looking down, then she tipped my chin upwards towards her
"Was it a dude, did he stood you up or did he dump you?" She asked with a look of sympathy on her face
"It's nothing, anyway, why should you care, you don't even know me, I don't know you, so there isn't really any reason you should care" I said trying to hold back some tears
"Do I really need to know you when I can see you're in pain" she said as started to wipe my tears away
I don't know why, but that made me go in a full breakdown, I grabbed on to her and then started crying into her shoulder
She hugged me and started to rubbed my back gently and soothingly
"How about we go back to your house and get some rest, and talk about it in the morning" she said as she started to guided me away from the edge
I told her where I lived and walked me all the way there, I unlocked the door and we sat down on the couch and I just sat there for a while not doing anything
"So... are you going to tell me why you were about to take a swan dive off of canterlot, I can guaranty that's a sure way to go. I'm not leaving until you tell me" she said with two cups of what smelled like coffee
"I don't even know you, why should I tell you anything" I said with a hoarse monotone voice
"Well if that's the problem, my name is night gazer, and my name can tell you what I like to do" she said sitting down next to me then taking a sip of coffee
"Yuck what did I put in this, it taste awful, anyway. You should probably talk about what's bothering you instead of not talking about it" she said as she place her left hand on me and began rubbing my back soothingly
"I have a terrible therapist, that's what's wrong with me" I said bitterly and still holding back whatever tears I haven't shed already
"Then get a new therapist, at least that doesn't make you cry and makes you want go sky diving without a parachute" night gazer said
"The place I work won't allow me to get a new therapist because my insurance can't cover it" I said with bitterness in my voice
"You know what you need.... a roommate, I'm currently looking for one, and I couldn't help but notice that you have a spare bedroom when I was looking for your kitchen" night gazer said as she pointed at where my bedroom and guest bedroom are
"Why do you want to live with some-pony as damage as me?" I asked wiping some tears out of my eyes
"What are you doing, I don't care for these memories" a voice said
"The battle is starting, watch or I will kill her myself, especially if we lose, I'll use the last of my power to kill the mare you love. Now, watch as I use your body to kill" nightmare moon said
'Dang parasite, I'll stop you, and I'll save night gazer, I can't have the only person I love die, not again' I thought trying to hold back my tears of frustration
Jordan's POV
'How am I going to do this, I can't stay here and I can't just visit everyday or everyone and then, maybe she can come with me, no she has a life here and my job is to dangerous, she saw what could happen' I thought as I was walking around the guest room twilight let me borrow
"Hey Jordan, can we talk, Ah need to discuss somethin with ya?" AJ asked as she entered my room
"Ummm yeah sure, I needed to talk with you to" I said a little nervous
We sat on the bed "Jordan, how are we going to make this, us, work?" AJ asked motioning between us
"We could have something that could alert us, maybe I can make a portal that we can go to and meet each other?" I said not sure if my answer is as good enough
"You know that isn't the problem, how can we make us work, your from somewhere different that I can't just travel by normal means, and I'm just a normal earth pony who isn't that smart with this stuff and what would happen if you almost die again and I'm not there to help you recover" AJ said panicking and starting to cry
"Woah woah woah, I'm not going to die again, last time was because I wasn't prepared and I'm not from here so I didn't know what kind of limits I have here" I said kneeling in front of AJ as I was also trying to comfort her as best as I can
"Ya know that isn't why, Ah know yur not from here,but that still doesn't change the fact that ya died. Ah want you here, Ah know that selfish of me to ask you, Ah just don't want to see you die again" AJ finished crying less then before, she was now leaning into my shoulder
"AJ. You know I can't promise that, I need to finish this, nightmare moon is disturbing the balance of the multi-verse, and I'm probably the only one who can stop this. I know you have saved the world many of times before, but this is different, even your princesses are getting involved" I hugged AJ closer as I explained why I must do this
"Touching, Really touching" an echoey voice said coming from the door way, it was chrysalis. "Twilight wants everyone in the map room so no one is left out, though I must admit, I have to agree with the country hick, you're in no condition to fight much less walk, if you go out there in battle you're either going to be a liability or dead, so as I recently learn, choose who you want to fight and who to protect" chrysalis said as she said all of this with her back turned
"..... ugggghhhh, I hate it when I'm talked out of stuff I really want to do" I said as I dramatically laying on my back on the bed
"Does that mean ya'll stay here" AJ said with hope and excitement in her voice as she looked at jordan as she lay on top of her looking into her eyes
"yes and no, I'll stay here but I'll still be fighting with you, even if I'm not directly there with you" I said coming up with a plan to still be apart of the battle
"As long as yur here recovering, Ah'm fine that. Here, reason for me to come back" AJ said as she took off here hat and put it on my head
"I'm not reason enough, and here I thought you loved me" I said jokingly giving her a shit eating smirk
"Well now ah love ya even more, see ya in the map room Jordan" AJ said as she left with her hat on my head
'I can feel the emotion in this hat, this must be very important to her, I'll take good care of it, with my life if I have to' I thought to myself as I examined the hat
