We arrived at the castle without trouble. Of course we changed our clothes before we return. Using the horse-drawn vehicle would be impossible since it was getting dark already. Merchant will not be allowed. We just return as prince and princess and the guards opened the gate for us without question. Even though they are quiet surprised to see us from the outside of the castle.
I didn't asked Prince Shone more about the realm. Maybe there are more time for that or maybe I'm not ready to hear about it. I want to cherish my time here in dreamland. I maybe want to go back so badly but there are something in my heart and mind that tells me to stay here.
I will search a book about the magic that will give my answers to my proposition. But not this time, surely I will after the celebration. I just hope this celebration will come out well.
He accompanied me up to my room. This day really makes me happy but at the same time tired.
"My princess, rest for now. You need your energy for your rehearsal tomorrow." He said in a low voice before he kissed my forehead. He's a thoughtful Prince, in realm he is a total package that everyone would die for. Handsome, kind, gentlemen, thoughtful, and a real life Prince. How lucky this Princess is?
I smiled at him and kissed his left cheek too.
"Thank you my Prince." He flashed a sweet smiled at me and left my room.
I smiled at myself but it didn't reach my eyes. I'm falling day by day for him. I don't know how I will prevent myself from falling when I don't even know how. Someday, I will leave this world and he's included to those people that I will left behind. And the real Princess will be back too, she will claimed again what she really has.
Even I want to live both of the two worlds, the realm where I originally came from and this dreamland. I don't know if it's possible.
That day was unforgettable for me but even how much I enjoyed, the reality would always bothered me.
I fell asleep that night with hopes that everything will be alright.
The next day, I prepared myself for my rehearsal. I will performed in the hall of this castle with King and Queen as my special guest and of course my Prince. I wear a white simple yet elegant dressed with thin transparent clothes above my dress. It was loose and moving freely when wind blown. I let my hair loose down to my back, with a few strands left on my forehead and on the side of my face. I'm nervous but excited at the same time. My Prince fetched me from my room. He looks so handsome with his white royal suit with golden laces.
We both smiled at each other when our eyes locked. He's holding a single red rose in front of him.
"For my Beautiful Princess." He handed me the rose. I feel so special whenever he did sweet things like this.
"Thank you." I took it from him and smell it. It smell so nice, I even close my eyes.
I suddenly open my eyes when I felt his lips on my forehead. He cup my face with his thumb. I looked at his deep green eyes, it was full of sincerity and love.
"You're so beautiful today my Princess." Once again, my heart flutter.
We went to the hall while holding each other's hand. My nervousness was totally gone, only the excitement left. If this was like my first day here, I would have shaking from nervousness. But not anymore, with him beside me, I can do this. The king might be silent and seems not to show any attention, but I can see in his eyes the love and support of him for his daughter. He's an ideal father for me, I wish I experienced having a father like him.
The King and his Queen were already on their seats. The one who teach me were sitting on the side of the hall. I'll be performing on the center where the a round decorative carpet lies. It's a bit raised one feet above the ground.
I nod at Prince Shone before I walk to the center of the hall. I accepted wholeheartedly before that I will never be good at dancing but as I stood up straight and ready in this huge hall, my mind completely oppose it. My confidence raised when I saw my Prince giving his genuine smile at me that makes my heart flutter and jump in excitement, at the same time love.
When the slow old music starts, I started my dance that implies purity and peace. My whole body calm. My dressed flown with the calm wind. The wind follows my every slow and gentle move. I feel the gentle brush of the wind on my face and the tension that started to form in my every movement. I look at them but they seem not to notice the forming tensions around me. My body started to get heavy but I tried so hard to maintain my composition, my dance will end soon in just a few moves. When I finished my last and final move, I felt my Prince hugged me, my whole body was carried by him.
"That was a very good dance my Princess, you deserve to rest. Let me be your knight for now my Princess." That was his last words before I lose my consciousness.
I woke up in my room with him holding my hands. He's sitting on a chair just beside my bed. I smiled at the sight of him, his resting his head on my bed. He looked so peaceful while sleeping. I gently stroke his hair but he opened his eyes when he felt my hand.
"My Princess, you're awake."
"What happened my Prince?"
I don't know what happened next after I lost my consciousness. I just felt that something was coming out from my body, like my energy was slowly draining.
"You passed out my Princess after you finished your dance rehearsal. That was very good, you did a great job." I smiled at his assurance. He will always give me compliment even though I know I was a burden after that.
"Thank you my Prince. You are my savior and my knight." I raised my hand to touch his pale face.
