Diana opened her eyes slowly, regaining consciousness in the unfamiliar house. Branches and leaves covered the ceiling in front of her as she rose. She found herself in a silk bed inside a home that looked like the insides of a tree.
"Arthur?" muttered the princess as she rubbed her eyes and looked around, but she found that there was no one. As she rose from the bed, she saw that the sun was rising from the window.
The house was made entirely of wood, glass, and leaves. The chairs and tables were tree trunks of different sizes, and the doors were just giant leaves that she could push aside and enter. As she looked through the house, she found Arthur sitting inside what looked like a living room.
Diana paused before she walked any further inside. Arthur was sitting cross-legged on the tree trunk as wisps of wrathful souls danced around him. Each of them cried of regrets, but they turned golden the moment that they entered Arthur's body.
