We ran and ran for so long I could no longer feel my legs and I had a feeling I was about to get an asthma attack again.

"Are β€”- weβ€”runningβ€”inβ€”-circles?" I managed between gasps.

"I think the lair is somehow rearranging itself to make us reach the same room again and again." Somehow he could talk completely normal. Meanwhile I was wheezing like a 60 year old woman.

That's the last thing I remembered before I blanked out.

I was suddenly in a huge room decorated with pillars. The walls looked like they were painted in gold. I stood on a dark brown carpet that lead to the throne in the middle of the room. On the throne sat a tall man wearing a purple suit and tie over his dress shirt.

"Hello!"He said. He had a deep voice. He looked about 40 years old."So I hope you are having fun in Eddie's little lair."

"I'm sorry. Who?" I asked.

"Oh right sorry! You probably know him as The πΆπ‘œπ‘šπ‘π‘’π‘ π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿ." He didn't seem to like that name either. "I told the kid to change that name. Ugh! Anyway, so what was I saying?"

"You said I was having fun in Eddie's lair." I suggested.

"Oh right! Anyway so- oh! How rude of me?! I didn't even introduce myself! So sorry!" He said it so nicely that I almost said π‘‚β„Ž π‘‘β„Žπ‘’π‘Ÿπ‘’ 𝑖𝑠 π‘›π‘œ 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 π‘‘π‘œ 𝑏𝑒 π‘ π‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘Ÿπ‘¦. 𝐼𝑑'𝑠 π‘œπ‘˜!

"So I am The Leader" that caught my attention.

"Who are you?"

"That's what I just said- I'm the Leader."

"No I meant π‘€β„Žπ‘œ are you. What do you want?"

"Oh right!" All of a sudden he started twisting and turning like he was in pain. And I saw that there were red marks on his wrists as if he had been wearing molten hot shackles on his wrists.

"Where am I? And more importantly where are you π‘Žπ‘π‘‘π‘’π‘Žπ‘™π‘™π‘¦?"

"You are in the lair right now and Nadella has kept me chained to a wall in a dungeon for a while now, but I can still make my essence appear in dreams, like I'm doing right now."

"Ok that's great. But what do you want from me?"

"I need you to release me from my prison"

"Ha! Talk about living in dreams! Why would I save you?"

"Because if you don't then your family is going to be in grave danger."

He pointed to a crystal ball on the table on his right. It was showing a video of my parents and siblings in a cage tied from the ceiling. There was hot lava flowing from below them.

A sudden rage filled in me. "Let them go" I snarled.

"Oh! I will. When you free me from my trap I'll free them from theirs. And here's a little gift from my side to help you along the way." He threw me a sword. It had a leather grip that fit perfectly in my hand and a long blade with a pointed tip.

"What is this for?"

"Oh you'll need it"

"But-"

"Bye" he waved and I was back at the lair.

I woke up with a start. I saw my old companion staring down at me. The sword was still in my hand.

"You ok?" He asked

"Yeah I'm fine. Dude what's your name?" I asked with a sudden realization that I didn't even know his name.

"My name is Josh. Josh Fraser." He replied giving me a hand up.

"Why did you say it like that?" I asked.

"It's more fun that way" he said and smiled. I smiled back. He shifted his glance to the sword in my hand.

"How did you get that?"

"Umm oh weird story"

"Shock me" He said.

I told him what had happened after I fell.

"Oh... so that means that sword is the Blade of Ogrel" he muttered.

"Sorry. Blade of what?"

"Give me that sword" he demanded with aΒ  sudden thirsty glare in his eyes.

"No" I said, I didn't know what the sword was for but I found myself unable to give it to him.

"I said give it to me." He said again and snatched the sword from my hand. He ran towards the window . The dragon was gone. I followed him. He jumped and I did the same. We fell into an ocean of cold water.

And then I died.
