"A cave…I think this is it." Zeolite said looking forward to a big cave, his right hand is holding a sketch of the cave, "So big…" Celine said in awe, "let's go." Zeolite said, he pulled out a card, he holds it in his hand, a light comes out from the card, "You'll need this too." He said pulling out another card, handing it to her. The card reads, "Light".
"Hold it in your hand to activate it, if you want, you can put it in your chest pocket facing the front." Zeolite said explaining how to use the card, "Alright." Celine said, she holds the card in her hand, as light comes out from it, she then put in her chest pocket.
"Good." Zeolite nods, the two walked forwards, the cave is not too deep, but pretty deep enough for a monster to hide. "Zeolite, do you have any food or drinks you like the most?" Celine ask starting a conversation, Zeolite think for a second, before replying, "Coffee. I think that's it, I rarely taste anything other than that." He said, "but that's unhealthy! You should drink something other than that! Like water! It's healthy for you!" Celine said scolding him, "Nah, it's plain." Zeolite said closing his eyes for a while.
"You will be dehydrated if you don't drink water! At least, how much coffee did you consume a day?" Celine's tone of voice drops when she ask, "5? Or 4? I don't know." Zeolite shrugs.
"What?! You consume that many?! You'll get sick!" Celine said scolding him, "a lot has crossed my head lately. And what comes to my mind after all of these thoughts is coffee." Zeolite said. "Fine! I'll definitely treat you a proper food after we got the prize!" Celine said with wanting him to have a healthy meal, "Nope, you'll need it for rent, so no, I can buy it myself anyway." Zeolite said declining her offer, walking forwards, "promise me you will eat properly-" Zeolite put his index finger on his lips, to shut her down, "we're near."
The beast is asleep in its deep slumber, its size is very big, and it's not like any normal creature, it just like a deformed creature, its face is deformed, their legs are pretty short, and the hand is very long.
"We should eliminate it." Zeolite said pulling out his sword from its scabbard, "Right." Celine nod, "Can you see the heart? I can't estimate, because its body is like that, and I want to make it a one-shot kill." Zeolite said, "Sure, I think I can." Celine said, a tiny magic circle appeared in one of her eyes, she squints her eyes a bit, a faint glow on its chest.
"Right there, a little down, near that bump, but I think it's pretty deep if you want to stab in from it back. I suggest you stab it from the front." Celine said not aware of her surrounding, "Well, I guess it's awake." Zeolite said staring at the slowly stands up creature. "Hard way then." He said pulling out another card, he places it on his sword, lightning burst up from the bottom of the blade, and stop on the tip. "Lightning." He muttered.
The creature let out a shrill scream, Celine can't handle the screams, so she covered her ears and shut her eyes, but luck wasn't on their side, the creature right hand just about to slam down to her position, Zeolite had a fast react, he drops his sword, and shove her away along with his body, guarding her head with his hand, until they hit the ground. "You okay?" Zeolite asks a hint of a little worry in his voice, "Y-Yea." Celine said a little surprised.
"Good." Zeolite said, he looks towards the creature first, then to his sword, he looks above the creature, perfect rocks to be fallen at. Zeolite runs towards where his sword is, the creature screams and slammed down it hand, right behind Zeolite, the ground crack a little, fortunately Zeolite got to his sword.
"Haa!" Zeolite shout swinging his sword, thunder slashes come from it, the slashes hit the ceilings, in result the cave begins to rumble. It screams louder, the creature tries to steps up from its place. "You're not getting away!" He gritted his teeth, "Shadow Spears!" He successfully let out these words, magic circle appeared above him, spears shoot from the magic circle, stabbing its legs and arms, the creature let out a piercing scream. "Let's go! The cave is going to collapse!" He said dragging her.
They finally see the entrance, the entrance ceilings is about to collapse. Zeolite places his sword back at his scabbard, he looks towards Celine, an idea pop out on his mind, he proceeds to carry her like a princess, since it way much easier, "E-Eh?!" Celine yelp, "quite." Zeolite simply said, the two is so close to the entrance, rocks already cover a bit of the entrance. Fortunately, the two made it out, the ceilings then fully covered the entrance.
Zeolite panted and let go of her, sitting down on the floor, "That was tiring." He panted, Celine just about to open her mouth to speak, "Don't ask, it's easier that way, if I don't do that, we'll trapped inside." Zeolite said closing his eyes.
"I just want to say thank you." Celine pout crossing her arms, "You're pretty fragile, you should train more." Zeolite chuckle, "I am, I'm still not used to things like this yet." Celine said sadly, "You should get Ashley to train with you. She got some insane stamina." Zeolite said suggesting her, "I guess. I'll ask her later. Also, did I just see you using your magic before?" Celine ask curiously, "Yea, and I don't like it." Zeolite sigh.
"But you're so cool! Those spears went like whoosh!" Celine said stars in her eyes. "Jeez, I'm just using it if I need to. And I don't like it." Zeolite said standing up, "let's go." He said motioning his hand, "Alright!" Celine nod, "can you tell me more about your magic?" she ask her eyes gleaming, Zeolite can't seem to reject her wish, "fine, just a bit tho." Zeolite sigh. "Yeay!" Celine cheered, "c'mon don't act like a 5 years old kid." Zeolite chuckle, "I am not!" Celine declined. "Yeah sure." Zeolite reply crossing his arms.
"Oh, Zeolite. You seem like a perfect brother figure." Celine smile, Zeolite is taken aback, "…why's that?" he ask, "I don't know, I just feel like saying it." Celine said putting her hands behind her back and walk cheerfully. 'Impossible…she resembles her so much.' Zeolite thoughts her personality, ways of talking, and looks, "Nah, that won't do. Her name is different." Zeolite muttered, "what are you muttering about?" Celine ask turning around, "Nothing. Just random thoughts." Zeolite smile a little, "Hey, you should smile more, it suits you!" Celine said tugging up both of his lips. "Stop it." Zeolite said closing his eyes.
"Oh right! I'll keep my promise! I'm gonna treat you a proper meal!" Celine said dragging him, "hmph, let us both buy with our own shards, you'll get broke if you spend it now." Zeolite said, "I stop when you eat properly!" Celine said, "Jeez, fine." Zeolite said giving up.
