I was in my cabin when I called Sarah and someone else picked it up.
'Hello!' I said.
'Hello.' Someone replied from the other side.
I instantly recognized that it wasn't Sarah.
'Who...am I talking to?' I asked.
'Umm...this is Anna here Sarah's housemate.' She said.
'And can I know where Sarah is?' I replied.
'Actually...' She told me everything and I ran towards my car taking my overcoat in my hand.
'Hey, hey hey. Stop, where are you going without pulling your coat over. It's cold outside Lisa.' Said Dr. Ray as soon as he saw me going out.
'Sarah!!' I panted
'She fell from the staircase last night.' I said and he automatically responded.
'What?!! Lemme take you there.' He said.
He held my hand and took me towards his car. He was worried about her, cause he also knew what happened to her two years ago. He drove as fast as he could've and we reached the hospital. No matter what I knew that Ray does care about me, Sarah, and Anna, of course.
We stepped out of the car and ran towards the receptionist to ask for Sarah's room no.
'Room no. 146 please, on the third-floor ma'am.' The receptionist said and we took the stairs to reach quickly.
Finally, as we reached outside of Sarah's room my feet stopped at the threshold. I looked at her who was in a slumber, a deep one.
She didn't even welcome us or didn't even hug me. It was like my mind refused to what my eyes were seeing. It was like I'm dreaming, a nightmare. I didn't want to believe this. I can't see her suffering again as she did two years ago. She is my only pal and my only family. I can't see her like this again...
Is everything repeating itself?
Thinking all of this my eyes got flooded.
'Lisa.' Said Dr. Ray and put his hand on my shoulder.
As an instant reaction, I hugged him and started crying.
'I can't see her like this Ray.' I said.
'I just can't.' I was sobbing gradually embedding my head in his chest. While he caressed my hair and hugged me tightly.
'Everything will be fine, Lisa. Don't worry.' He said and patted my back softly.
I was still crying when Ray took a step back. I looked at him with my teary eyes with a question on my face. He cupped my face with both of his hands and wiped out the tears with his thumbs and said,
'Seeing you cry doesn't make me feel good.' I looked at him and he looked at me.
His dark brown eyes met my black eyes and I realized that his eyes were a bit wet too.
He cried too. though it can't be realized by his voice or his expressions but has anyone ever succeeded in hiding their eyes? I saw him and my hand automatically went towards his corner of the left eye and I wiped out a tear which was about to fall.
Suddenly he stepped back leaving me, cleared his throat, and said,
'I'll be back. Sit here and don't go anywhere without informing.'
He said and left. I sat on the seating outside Sarah's room cause I was not strong enough to see Sarah lying on a hospital bed, lifeless.
Just after a minute, her mom came.
'Oh! Lisa, I'm happy that you're here to look after Sarah.' She said and hugged me.
She was the most worried one here. I hugged her back.
'What does the doctor say?' She asked.
'Th..they sa...say that she ca..can be in...'
'She'll be alright.' Said someone from behind.
I turned around and a tall guy was standing just in front of me. I looked from toe to too and as soon as I saw his face I got fascinated. He was my first crush, Niall Carter. I looked at him with my widened eyes.
He was standing in front of me. It's been a long time since we saw each other. I looked at him for some seconds and he said,
'And...you are?'
Wow! what a great actor! Nice, I'll continue it.
'I'm Dr. Lisa Sarah's friend.' I said.
'You work in this hospital?' He asked further.
'Nope, I'm a psychiatrist.' I replied.
'Oh! I see... Nice to meet you.' He said and shook hands with me. I smiled and he smiled a bit, that's it.
He looked exactly how he looked back then. Perfectly dressed in a three-piece suit with his flawlessly gelled hair. And that confidence on his face nothing had changed except for one thing. His eyes looked a bit tire, sad and red. There were some dark circles under his eyes.
He walked passed me towards aunt Hannah when I said,
'Niall!' He turned around with one raised eyebrows.
'Umm...I mean Mr. Niall, you're eyes look a bit, tired didn't have a nice sleep last night I guess.' I said and he stammered,
'Umm...jus..just too much of work.' I nodded and he nodded back.
I knew he was worried about Sarah cause no one knew what will happen. Will she be alright or will she be in a comma, for months? No, God can't do this to her again. She has suffered a lot two years back I can't see the time rewinding and playing the same fate again.
We didn't tell aunt Hannah about Sarah's situation. Niall took aunt Hannah with him to Sarah cause doctors were not letting anyone in until Niall came. I sat outside and Anna came.
'Oh! You're here.' She said.
'I was with the doctor.' She said further.
'What does the doctor say.' I asked her as she sat beside me.
'Doctors say that if she didn't wake up in the next three days then they are chances of her to...to be in co...comma.' She said while gradually her eyes got teary.
Everyone here was in melancholy and misery. No one was able to see Sarah lifeless lying on that hospital bed. That is not where she belongs. A girl like her deserves all the happiness of life.
I continuously prayed to God under my breath not to repeat the ill fate. And Anna went out to bring something to eat...

After a while saw a guy coming towards where I was sitting. I saw him and gradually he was coming near. As he came close I recognized who he was, He was Jeremy.
He was looking so sophisticated, wearing a dark blue shirt with a mandarin collar.
'Jeremy?' I questioned with frown eyebrows.
'I'm here to meet Sara...'
'You don't deserve to meet her!!' Someone interrupted while yelling at him and grabbed Jeremy's neck...
