Chapter 3 - Chapter Three

When Chanel returns home, she saw her Aunt Martha watching TV in the living room.

"I'm home Aunt!" She greeted, but her aunt didn't greeted her back and scolded her instead. "Why did you leave so early this morning? You didn't wash the dishes that we used in breakfast?"

"I'm sorry because I was late for school,"

"Go wash it now!" she ordered. "Yes aunt!" Chanel helplessly said, and went to the kitchen to wash the dishes. She was so sleepy and want to take a nap but she was need to finish to wash the dishes. After she finished it, she change her uniform and about to take a nap, but suddenly her cousins named Camille and Mikaela came in. They dumped their laundry uniforms on her. "Wash our uniforms!" Mikaela said drastically. Chanel could do nothing but to obey them. It was so good that they had a washing machine so she washed it immediately, and as the washing machine rotated, she was fell asleep next to it.

After doing the laundry, she cooked food for dinner. Chanel was accustomed to such a day-to-day routine. After they ate, Chanel packed and washed the dishes immediately. She need to go to her work at 8 pm and it will finish at 2 am. She change her clothes and put the first aid kit in her bag, because she was often got wounded every time she makes shoes.

When she came to the Factory, she starts to do her work, she felt so sleepy but she need to do her job. Her co worker named Teresa noticed her.

"There you are again, sleepy girl?" Teresa smirked. "I went to school early this morning," Chanel said while sewing the shoe. "Why don't you just quit school?"

"No, the reason why I'm working is to finish my studies, its just a few months away,"

"I don't think so," Teresa said then she shook her head.

"What about you, do you want to study?' Canel asked.

"No, I'm not interested," she scoffed,

"So what is your dream?' She asked her.

"Me, I want to marry a rich husband! So that I become rich too, I don't want to get pressured in school, marrying a rich husband is the easiest way to make my dreams come true," Teresa said as her eyes twinkles.

"I think it's not a good idea," Chanel replied.

"Why?" Teresa scoffed.

"What if your husband was rich but you don't love him?" She asked while sewing,

Teresa suddenly paused and said. "Love doesn't matter to me, love can't fill my dreams, I don't want to get hungry," Teresa said then continued sewing. Chanel felt sorry on her opinion. "But you can't be happy without love," Chanel said.

"Love? How can you be happy if you're hungry and can't buy what you want to buy huh?" Teresa said, as she crock an eyebrow at her.
