Tinsel takes on the lead, followed by Rhys, as we make our way past the overly grown bushes of these woods. The afternoon sunlight is still brimming above us, but the hovering trees and its branches trap the heat and light. Only small rays of sunlight can pass through, serving as our source of light.
"They have the women tied by the tree barks. Two are elves from the town of tinkers, and one is a fairy," informs Tinsels, "they have weapons, and one, in particular, possesses a crossbow."
"Were you seen?" Rhys asks.
"No, I made sure to be careful."
I follow behind Rhys, and I listen to their conversation. However, my eyes travel throughout my surroundings, going through every tree, boulder, and bushes. I once spotted a movement behind weeping branches, which alerted me, only for a deer to appear from behind the tree.
