Chapter 77 - Good News

"How delightful, to earn back my precious legs!"

I sigh as I lay sprawled across the bed, feeling drained. I went through another brief painful experience that we had to shift back. The feeling of a thousand needles poking my legs is a quick but unforgettable pain.

Although it wasn't the only experience that's indelible, "that was disturbing; my heart almost gave up," I complained, glaring at Rhys.

He blinks at me, his cheeks turning pink. He must be embarrassed that he turns away from me, only to make it worst for me that I had to look up to the ceiling to distract my thoughts. 

"Don't blame me for not knowing that we'd be half undressed when we turn back to our usual forms," he lowly mutters and leaves the room. 

I hear a smack followed by a scolding from Faye, "you should have taken the cloth right away, how foolish."
