Trevor proves himself to be very quick when tasked with something when he came the perfect time he promised with the potion I asked him to get. I can see now why my father is keeping him around with Ducan gone. But I don't see Trevor as a replacement for anyone.
He barges inside my room the time the servants are doing my hair. We're only hours away before people from all over the kingdom come filling the ballroom. The sun is about to set in a few hours, yet the sky remains the same dingy, foggy.
"Miss Rose, I found it," Trevor approaches me, panting as if he had just run. He eyes the girls surrounding me to do my hair but ignored them when I asked for the potion.
"Thank you," I said, inspecting the purple mixture in an odd glass bottle. There's a label on it saying that it's unfinished, making my heart drop, "we cannot use this; it's unfinished. Ducan never finished it."
