It's the first time that I ate in this dining hall with the thick curtains drawn on the side of the arched windows that stretches from the ceiling and down.
The natural light gives this place a different atmosphere than it was before. It's somewhat refreshing and exquisite. This castle is alluring at first glance, but the real beauty had always hidden behind the fog and dimness of the weather.
"Very odd, isn't it?"
Veering my eyes away from the incredible scenery of the courtyard that the large windows have to offer- I set down my glass and raise an eyebrow at Ducan. He swallows the green, leafy vegetable, which makes me wonder how it's the third time I catch him never eating meat. Ducan must be a vegetarian; far from my expectations.
"The sun has suddenly risen in the cursed kingdom near the mountains. Some would say it's a good miracle, but some would fear it."
I tilt my head in wonder, "why would anyone fear good weather?"
