I take a deep breath in, walking to my vanity for a special hair pendant. An Emerald one, one that reminded me of-"Rene', this is for you." I put my hair up in an elegant bun, letting my curls relax into this position. After, I slip in the Pendant and admire myself in the mirror.
I don't look to bad, maybe a little tired but otherwise okay, and my ginger hair is…Looking okay as well I guess. I awkwardly smile at myself, not knowing how to really give a compliment. I mean how would I? Everyone thinks I'm this supposed "excellent tribute, a grand future heir of this mansion building". But am I? Or am I just a girl who happened to get lucky at birth. But also unlucky because she can't even follow the directions of her parents..why would I say something good about myself?
Never do, self confidence in myself is not important right now, Ballet Practice and Rene' are, so let me get myself together. I lightly slap my face, preparing myself to read the clue again and I do. Whispering it aloud to myself, "But Where you Dance there is a time, It controls your actions and watches through the wall. This is where the next letter lays in times hands you shall praise."
I tap my pointed shoe in ponder, "Well I know the letter is in the clock, slightly above the dance studio. But what does "in times hands you shall praise" mean? Is that a specific time? After ballet or before? Or at night? Hmm." I put the letter back in the envelope and hide it under the mattress of my bed.
It's time for practice now, I walk over to my door, opening it slowly just in case my Father was out there. Thank goodness he wasn't, so that left me with going to the elevator. I did this while again glancing around the mansion, gazing upon what guarding I had today but this time.. It felt like there was less guarding for a some reason. When I got to the sliver elevator I was surprised to find Charles waiting for me. In a black and dark blue, tux like outfit, wearing white gloves?
His dark blue eyes were almost glimmering as well and he had a faint blush on his fair complexion. Was he thinking of someone? Someone he thought of dearly maybe? I stared at him for a bit until a guard announced me saying, "Lady.Victoria is here now Seamstress. Please guide her on way and don't forget lunch today. It is a special occasion for you Sir." Charles nods to the guard, "Merci(Thank you) Sir I will not forget." He turn to me with a warm smile, "Good Morning Lady.Victoria are you ready to be escorted?" He said with a medium silk voice.
It felt like I saw a flutter in his eyes as he said that, maybe it was just me but I felt so calm. My chest a little warm even, I didn't know what to think. "Yes I'm ready Charles thank you." I took his hand in mine and it was soft and warm, slightly bigger than mine. I was close to him but even yet he didn't look me to much in the eyes. We entered the elevator and Charles pushed the button up, causing us to ascend up.
It was time to dance and it was time to take action.
