Save me!!! I was confused to see what light of the torch portraited on the wall. I got up and turned the torch upside-down. "Save Me" !! Who was needed to be saved?? What is this? What was going on??... It was all a big question!!With all those things in my head, I went to sleep.
"Smriti! Smriti ! Get up!!"..." There's a lady downstairs who wants to see you", it was my mom who woke me up for a weird reason. I went downstairs and on the couch, it was that lady. She wanted to talk to me. She was pretty old with white hair and was very short. She looked in my eyes and said "ki hoyeche eto bhoye keno"( What happened? Why are you so afraid?). I told her that I just woke up that's why, she said ,"I have something for you".
It was that god dam torch which was in my room last night!! How did she get it?? Aaah it was annoying me!! I asked her how did she get it. She didn't answer my question. She asked who went inside?.... inside? Inside what I asked?" Don't be a fool ! You know exactly what I am talking about . Who went in the devil's den?? The house of demon, the door to hell!!' Words she used were scary enough . I whispered ,"Are you talking about the old creepy house"?" Yes"!
I said "Satvik , my class mate. I saw this torch in front of that house , he went at the back of the house at night to fix the lights". She closed her eyes started saying "om namah bhagwate vasudevaya"×3 .I shaked her with my hand," aunty tell me what's wrong?"She said it's a terrible news, he is free. "Who is free?" I said ,"where is my friend Satvik? Is he okay? his mom said he went to school but he never came to school".
"Beti he is inside that house". "What the hell!! No he came back !!I saw it, everyone saw it . He even finished the chola bhature . How can he be still inside that house?".
