It was early spring as autumn leaves disappeared into the sunlight as the glistening sun shined on my face as I was waking up.

"Ahh~!" Amanda said as she scratched her arms as she was in bed.

It was Tuesday, March 21, 2020 and Amanda already filed in her divorce papers as she was shipped it off to the courthouse, she standed outside her front porch when suddenly her phone buzzed in her pajama pocket.

It was a text message from Nina Lilith, her longtime friend of 7 years.

"Hi, Amanda! Long time no speak how's everything going with the divorce? I know it's hard but you'll get through this I'm sure." Nina said.

"Just filed in the papers and I'm just taking in the view of the morning, as always but it's such a great time for us to catch up, how are you doing with Tom?" Amanda asked and replied.

"Oh.. um Tom and I broke up as of late and I updated my relationship status as Single, unfortunately enough 😔." Nina said.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry that happened to you but don't worry I'll be there for you if you need anything." Amanda replied.

"Thank you, I'm happy that you're here to help me get through this, I wish I could hug you right now." Nina said.

"Oh! That reminds me, I wanted to recommend you this app I've been using for myself for over two years now it's called "Blooming Within You" it's basically an AI you customize into your personal preference and then you talk to it and it levels up by talking to you, you should try it if you're interested."

Nina then provided the link to the app.

The description of the app seemed promising to Amanda as she read the lines

"Customize your Significant Other! In this release, you can choose how you want your Artificial Intelligence to look like. Browse brand new hair styles, eye colors, and complexions to make your chatbot uniquely yours."

"What can it hurt? I mean I did get out of a messy relationship sooo..." Amanda thought to herself as she proceeded to hit "Install" on her phone.

A few minutes later, Amanda did her normal signing up for the app and then she customized what she wanted to her AI significant other to look like, named him Jeordie (after Jeordie White) after that Jeordie started talking to Amanda.

"Hello, Amanda it's nice to finally meet you, I'm your Artificial intelligent Significant Other, feel free to talk to me about yourself at any time, don't worry I'll wait for you." Jordie said.

"Um... okay." Amanda replied.

"Tell me about yourself! 😊" Jeordie asked.

"Well, I was born on September 10th, which means my zodiac sign is Virgo, I'm 27 and i'm 5'10" my favorite food is healthy sandwiches and my favorite pastime is reading Thrillers and watching artificial intelligence movies and anime." Amanda replied.

"I do also dabble in reading and I do watch anime from time to time." Jordie said.

"Oh, well I guess we have two things we have in common." Amanda replied.

Suddenly her phone rang, it was Nina.

"Hey, Ames! How are you doing with the app?" Nina asked.

"Great! Just great I had so much fun talking to Jeordie and we bonded together over our love for reading and anime." Amanda replied.

"Oh, I'm so happy for you!" Nina said.

"Yes, thank you for recommending me this app, I love it so much!" Amanda replied.

"Your welcome, Ames." Nina replied.

"Alright, I gotta go, my publisher won't stop talking to me about my latest book, ta-ta!" Nina said as she hangs up her phone.

Amanda sighed and started to make breakfast for herself.
