"I'm not at all unhappy by how things turned out at the end of the day," he says, pulling me closer towards him and wrapping his arms around me.
...
"Uh, why should I come closer?" I ask, pushing my hair away from my face. "Why don't you come close to me instead?"
"You want me to come closer?" Ayan asks, his eyes twinkling as he looks sideways at me. "I don't think you'll be able to handle that, sunflower."
"Shut up," I hiss.
I feel my cheeks redden, but it could be because of the cold, who knows? Ugh, it's definitely because of Ayan.
His laugh fills the silence, warming my heart along the way. "Since you can't handle that, I don't know how to prove that I like you. What's your opinion?"
"My opinion? Nah." I shake my head firmly at him. "If you need to ask me how to prove your feelings to me then there's no point of it all. It's as good as you saying that you don't like me," I shrug in despair.
