"It feels like we spend the whole day together in my head."
...
Squinting in the sunlight hitting my face, I try to fight the light and slowly open my eyes. I glare at the undrawn curtains across the window, hoping that inanimate objects could talk so that I could swing some curse words at these curtains and obviously, the sun.
Not cool, sun. You woke me from my slumber!
Groaning, I get out of the bed and rub my eyes, walking up to the window to draw the curtains so that Tara doesn't wake up. I walk into the washroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. After taking a quick shower, I change into a pair of blue shorts and an oversized t-shirt that covers my upper thighs, making it appear as if I'm not wearing anything under.
