"Your smile never fails to turn my frown upside down."

The sun beams through the thick glass windows of the cafe, illuminating Siya's face as she orders coffee for herself.
Her eyes linger on me, and she asks, "Do you want to talk about your date?" She wiggles her eyebrows when I stare at her hard, unbelieving. How can she ask me that in front of kids?
Tara's eyes light up and she puts her hands on the table, slightly jumping excitedly. "I want to know too! You haven't told me anything!"
I raise an eyebrow at her, "And you don't need to know either."
Her hazel eyes dull for a moment and her smile drops immediately, groaning in disappointment, "You're no fun."
