" What did u say" I asked to the man kneeling be forth me "M-My queen they were send a-as you said but they haven't found anything at all a-and" the man before me stuttered this is getting ridiculous "ENOUGH" my voice bellowed down the hallways of the palace as the maids scurried out of my sight, the man in front of me whimpered in fear as I stood up from my throne.

" And what exactly Lionel, let me guess they haven't come back yet or, did they get killed too. Tell me, Lionel, when have you ACTUALLY done something that I asked for" he opened his mouth to protest but I was quick to raise my hand.

"Please no more of your stuttering, I have wasted my time as it is. This is the 18th attack we are having, 246 of my people have been KILLED, isn't that enough for you or do you want me to kill you too" I say as I wait for him to leave but he doesn't.

"GO, Lionel, Before I do something I regret," I say as I massaged my temples to which the man simply nods and scurries himself out of the room. I sighed out of exhaustion and carried my self to the garden, at least this has to calm me down I thought.

As I walked in, the cold wind blew against me carrying an exotic aroma , filling my mind with bliss, goosebumps rose on my skin wrapping me in it's warmth.

My head snapped to see a wolf stepping from beside a tree and to my relief it was Jonah, a shapeshifter also my second hand how I know that is that he has white fur on his nose and has a twinkling ruby dangling from his ear, it's cute, the earring not him.

As he transformed into his normal self which was not so beautiful as it was covered in blood,

Someone else's blood, I thought

He walked up to me and slightly bowed "there's news for you, My Queen" he looked towards  me to see if I'm following and to that, I nodded .

"3 bodies have been found in the forests and in the hands of one was this" he held a beautiful, shimmering ruby towards me.

What is this I wondered as I took the ruby in my hands.

"Have any thoughts crystal?"

"None whatsoever" my wolf replied with an intriguing gaze at the ruby

I slowly raised the ruby and took a closer look and was shocked to see the symbol of the Vampire Realm. "Do you think that the vampires might be the cause of this Jonah?" 

"I am not sure, my Queen," he said

"And what do you mean by that Jonah, I remember you saying you had a hunch of who it was before"

"Yes, before, I did say that but I checked the bodies to see if there were  any teeth markings instead there were claw marks" I raised an eyebrow at him and asked "So you think they might be rogue wolves or lycans?"

"Not just rogues, Your Highness" he said while I nodded for him to continue "But rogues with certain powers and maybe something more"

"What do you mean, Jonah?" I asked as I could not catch what he was saying rogues, special powers, what does he mean?!

"Maybe like us" crystal suggested

I shook my head "he said something more crystal and that is what I'm worried about "

Crystal nodded to my words and sat to dwell on it.

"Come my queen, we will talk about this later in the throne room as I have to get changed, excuse me " by the time he finished, he vanished into thin air and leaving me to think.
