Dawn sat down looking at the beach outside her house while her friend Adele babbled on about this new guy she had gone out with the previous night.
"Oh you should've seen his car girl, it was the size of a monster truck....
She paused looking at her friend with a raised eyebrow
"Were you even listening to me?."
I'm so sorry I'm just thinking about everything that's been happening" dawn replied.
It truly had been rough for her she barely even had any food to last for the rest of that week.
Sighing, she moves to the patio with different envelopes in her hands.
Adele calls after her
"I know what you're going through is tough but you can't let that keep you in the house all day!
You've got to get out of the house
"But if I don't pay the bills, there won't even be a house to stay in" she said fearfully scanning the envelopes again.
Now Adele was very worried for her friend. She had always known her to be a positive and nothing almost never seemed to weigh her down but now she looked like the shadow of her former optimistic self.
Silence drew on like an invisible thread as the two women looked towards the beach with two different expressions in their faces.
"You really think I could pay all these debts before the next few months?" Dawn asks again.
"Look I cannot guarantee that , but all I know is that you need to get out of the house and I'm not taking no for an answer this time.
Making her way out the front door with her jacket in one hand, she makes her way out the door .
