Chapter 141 - Chapter 141

I was about to run back inside to check with Parsua how to go to the underworld when I saw Sebastiene a few steps away from me.

"Seb!" I breathed and immediately dragged him with me. "You really have good timing."

"Is anything the matter, my lady?" Sebastiene asked, letting me drag him by the hand.

"Athy is missing." I explained. "I have no idea where she, or Loki is. We believe that she went to the underworld to look for Karciel."

"Oh my." Sebastiene mumbled. "She is not planning on doing the same mistake twice, does she?"

"I really hope not, but just in case." I dragged him to the library and closed the door. "Do you have any way to take me to the underworld?"

Sebastiene was startled by my question.

"My lady, the only way for one to go there is to be dead." Sebastiene answered matter-of-factly. "Unless Lord Sidapa or a vessel opens a portal connected to the underworld, one has to die to get there."

"Even for me? A vessel?" I asked.

Sebastiene paused for a moment.

"I have never seen a vessel of another god or goddess open a portal to the underworld." He answered before shrugging. "In fact, this is the first time I have been in the presence of more than one vessel at the same time, and you are all from one family at that."

"Are vessels rare?" I asked. I never really thought about our existence.

"Yes, my lady." Sebastiene nodded. "It was very hard to see one even for a demon king like me, now I live with three."

"I see." I whispered and remembered the reason why I dragged him here. "Oh! Is there really no way to go there? Or ask someone to check if Athy is there?"

"You could ask Lady Uriel if she could reach Lady Athanasia using her mind?" Sebastiene suggested hesitantly.

I was about to call Uriel when I felt a strong presence in the castle.

A god!

I use a portal to arrive outside Athy's study quickly. The presence was coming from inside. It was strong and familiar.

Sebastiene knocked on the door and announced my presence before I pushed the door open. There, sitting cross-legged on the floor in front of Athy was the god of death.

Sidapa.

"Athy!" I dashed towards my little sister and checked for any signs of backlash. "Where did you go? We were so worried when we could not find you everywhere."

"Underworld." Was her short reply. She glared at the god who was sitting on the floor with a sword leaning on his shoulder. "I'm asking this idiot why he gave me a very disgusting thing."

"Hey, hey!" Sidapa disagreed. "Heyva Sor is a god forged weapon, okay? It is not disgusting in any way."

"It is made from a body part." Athy said through gritted teeth. Just thinking of holding a body part of another person or living being makes her feel disgusted.

"It is, but it's not some disgusting body part." Sidapa answered defensively. Sure, it was from the horn of another god, but it's still not something disgusting.

"It's from Masaken's body." Athy replied, it felt like she was about to beat him. "Another god's body."

"It is, but just his horn." Sidapa argued. "It's like a nail or a hair that one has a lot of."

Athy looked at him disgustedly.

"And that is the only weapon that fits you." Sidapa added. "It was only Heyva Sor that could complement your ability and personality. Stop with the attitude already. You're going too far."

"I'm going too far?" Athy's face shined with a wicked smile. She raised her eyebrow and looked down at Sidapa. "As a vessel, I got a body part of an evil god as a gift from the god I have to share my body with. Not only that, this idiot god did not even mention anything about it to at least warn me or let me br aware of it. He does not help when I ask him things and is basically useless whenever needed. Tell me, do I still need a god like this or should I never summon him ever again?"

Sidapa's eyes widened at Athy.

"Come on!" he cried in disbelief. "I'm not that useless. I gave you a very good weapon, an answered all your summons. It's just that I can't answer all your questions due to some rules made among the gods. It's not like I did not want to answer them."

Athy barely raised her eyebrow and looked disinterestedly at the god.

"Hey Sebby, tell her that there are some things I'm not allowed to discuss and that she needs to figure those things out herself." Sidapa ordered Sebastiene who was standing on my side, quietly watching them.

"It's not like I don't want to help you Lord Sidapa, it's just that Miss Athanasia hates me too much to believe me." Sebastiene answered calmly with a smile. "Why not let Lady Mel pacify her?"

Sidapa 'tsked' and muttered 'useless' under his breath before turning to me.

"Little girl," Sidapa smiled but I did not wait for what he was about to say and turned to my heel.

"Let's go back Seb, there's still a lot of thing we should take care of other than a useless god." I smirked and made my way out the door followed by Sebastiene.

The last thing I heard was a wailing cry from a stupid god.
