Chapter 138 - Chapter 138

I was startled by what the little boy said but Elaheh did not seem to care much. She just stared at the little boy and put back the syringe in her pocket.

This action made the little boy calm down but he still kept his eyes on her.

"My lady, that little boy needs his relaxant drug or he will go crazy." Elaheh said with a sigh. "He is not able to control his abilities without the relaxant drug."

"You know him?" I asked her.

"I was the one who made the relaxant drug to suppress him." She replied coldly.

"Do you know who he is? Where he's from?" I asked her. If she knows, it would be easier to return him then.

Elaheh shook his head lightly.

"Karciel's men said that the people who brought him to Karciel found him lying in the middle of the dessert." She looked at the boy. "It is believed that he is a half-bred and was thrown out of the demon clan he is from."

"A half-bred demon?" I whispered and looked at the little boy who was holding my hand. "Do you know what race his other half is?"

"Unfortunately not, my lady." Elaheh answered. "Karciel didn't care what his other half is as long as he has the looks of a demon, then he will sell for the price of a demon."

"I see." I nodded and looked up to Haktor. "Go. Once Sebastiene has returned, inform him that I want him here."

Haktor frown and hesitantly asked. "My lady, do you also think that the boy looks too much like Sebastiene?"

I looked at him weirdly before chuckling.

"I do." I answered and looked at the boy who was still looking at Elaheh with hostility. "Him being Sebastiene's child also crossed my mind.

"Though I doubt that he is Sir Sebastiene's spawn, there are indeed similarities." Elaheh placed her hand on her chin and leaned forward. "They could be from the same clan."

"I guess we would need Seb here to confirm it." I looked at the child and remembered something. "Is he able to eat and drink anything?"

It was already dark outside, these people who were saved by Milia have not eaten or drank anything. They must be famished.

"Yes, my lady." Elaheh nodded. "I have already ordered porridge and some bananas for them. They were starved and abused before so they should only have light food at the moment so as to not get stomachache."

"Okay." I nodded. "Are there any other children with ages five and below?"

"There is another one, my lady." Elaheh look out a paper, a list, from her pocket. "A four year old Sumain."

Sumain are called the bloody people or the people of blood. They live far south of the continent, on a rocky mountain where numerous kinds of demon beasts live. Their 'Bloody' title came from the color of their hair, blood red.

"Is the child hostile?" I asked with worry.

Elaheh shook her head and smiled.

"The opposite actually." She replied. "He is a happy and active child. Even though he was basically kidnapped and his parents were killed in front of him, he was still going forward with a positive mindset."

That's a good sign.

"How is his language and speaking ability?" I asked. This little boy beside me can speak but his speaking ability, language and vocabulary is not good. Probably because he is young, or because of the abuse."

"There is no need to worry, my lady, the child can speak well." Elaheh smiled.

"Can you bring him here?" I asked her. "I want to put the kids together so they won't feel lonely."

Elaheh smiled at me, turned her eyes to the little boy and asked again.

"Do you think he will be okay with another child here?"

I turned to look at the little boy again. He looked like he didn't care.

"Little boy, another little boy will be here." I slowly said. "Is that okay?"

The little boy looked at me and tilted his head.

"Boy." He repeated.

"Yes." I nodded to him. "He'll be staying in this room with you. Okay?"

"Owki." The little boy repeated.

I turned to Elaheh and nodded to her. She went out to get the little boy from Sumain while I waited with the little boy.

A few moment later, Elaheh came back with a little child wearing a big shirtdress. He had brown eyes and muddy brown hair.

I looked at Elaheh.

"Is he a half too?" I asked, confused. I thought the little boy from Sumain would have blood colored hair, but this one had brown.

"Oh no, my lady." Elaheh shook her head. "This little boy is a full blooded Sumainese."

"Shouldn't his hair be red?" I asked.

The little boy looked puzzled before he spoke with a heavy accent.

"My hair is red." He answered. "It is just dirty right now."

I was startled by his answer but more so by his accent.

The little boy beside me suddenly started squirming to get down from the bed and ran to the Sumainese boy.

"Bud!" He cried out as he ran to him.
