Sebastiene and I looked at each other.
"You did not inform him?" I asked pointing at the confused looking Klaus.
Sebastiene dropped to the ground.
"I didn't think he needed to know it yet, my lady." Sebastiene answered. "I apologize."
I glanced at Sebastiene who was kneeling in apology.
"It's fine." I motioned for him to stand. "As the advisor, he is allowed to know everything that happened, is happening and will happen to House Castellan. I trust him and so should you."
"Understood, my lady." Sebastiene nodded.
"Which reminds me that the new hires still need to give the Oath of Loyalty." I placed my hand on my head as sighed. "Seb, inform Athy to take care of the ceremony."
Sebastiene nodded. "I will, my lady."
I turned my attention back to Klaus.
"There are two living beings in the dungeon right now, Rick, our old butler and a knight that we are still unaware of the background." I explained. "They are the accomplices of Marquis McClare in attacking us."
"Just the two of them?" Klaus's eyes narrowed dangerously.
"There was one other, the captain of the knights in Riverforth, but he's already dead." I shrugged. "I suggest you go visit the dungeon with Seb. The guards there are under Athy, and they do not take kindly to unexpected guests."
"Wha-?" Klaus stared at me not knowing what to ask.
"You will understand once you see them." I replied nonchalantly. "But first, let's settle this rat and get over with mother's tea party."
"Or we could do both at the same time." Sebastiene's eyes glint with excitement.
"We could." Klause smiled back with a hint of mischievousness.
I stared at the two men who were most probably thinking of the same thing and shook my head.
"I don't care how you would handle the rat, as long as you bring him to me alive." I smiled with malice.
There are a lot of things that I needed to ask of him. I also promised Miss Bloom to let her have her revenge on Karciel. I bet the siblings would also want to see him suffering.
An idea came into my mind and my lips slowly curled up into slight smile.
"My lady?"
I looked up to see a nervous Sebastiene looking at me with puppy eyes.
"Please share with me what went into that little head of yours that made you smile with such beauty, that even my skin crawled from the chill you exuded." Sebastiene almost looked like a child begging for candy.
On the other hand, Klaus stood there nervously. He did not even hid his fear when our eyes met.
"I was just thinking, since there are a lot of people who want's the little rat's head, why not give them a day each to enjoy tormenting Karciel?" I smiled.
"Oh!" Sebastiene's face brightened as the clapped his hands. "That is indeed a good idea, my lady!"
Klaus nodded in agreement, his previous nervousness and fear forgotten.
I admire his adaptability.
"I actually wanted to just kill him right then and there, but your idea is so much better, my lady." Klaus smiled as if we were just talking about how nice the weather is.
"Okay, I'll leave the talking to you later during the meeting with the ranked knights." I told Klaus who bowed down in acknowledgment. "What about the security during mother's tea party?"
"I have already planned for the security measures to be taken during Her Grace's te party, my lady." Klaus smiled. "I just needed to discuss it with the others."
"Why is it done quicker that the planning for the rat?" I asked him in astonishment.
"It's actually more planned than anything else, my lady." Klaus hurriedly explained. "I planned for it, since I learned about it. You can even ask the employees, most of them had seen me walking around the estate, checking several places and also checking the barrier. I made sure that the security of the castle is meticulously planned."
"I know." I chuckled evilly. "Everything that happens inside the castle is directly reported to me."
"You.." Klaus stared at me feeling wronged and looking as if he was about to cry. "I can't believe you would do this to me, my lady."
I rolled my eyes at his childish acting and he chuckled.
"Seb, take those files to Athy." I pointed at the files on my desk that I set aside from the rest. "She will handle those."
"Yes, my lady." Sebastiene picked up the files and Klaus helped me to stand just in time for a maid to knock on the door and announce that lunch was ready.
I walked out with Klaus and Sebastiene behind me.
Klaus went back to the Knights residence and Sebastiene escorted me to the dining area before leaving to have his lunch at the Employees Residence.
