After eating lunch and resting for some time, we continued our shopping. We went to almost every shoe shop and jewelry shops in the city. Mother and Uriel were enjoying themselves, father looked tired, I was definitely tired and Athy was on the verge of a tantrum.
"How long do you they plan to shop?" Athy who was walking beside me asked, her face void of any expression as mother and Uriel went into another shoe shop.
"Should we just stay in there and wait for them?" I suggested, pointing to a simple looking café across the street with not much customers.
Athy furrowed her brows as she looked towards where I was pointing and suddenly crossed the street without even informing mother and Uriel. Elaheh stood frozen for a moment but immediately followed behind her, Aspez and some knights followed them. I shook my head at how overbearing my little sister was.
"Seb, go and inform mother that we will wait for them at that café." I ordered him.
Seb bowed slightly and left to where mother and Uriel went in. I turned and followed Athy to the café with the other knights.
The café was a small two storey house that was turned into a tea house and was hidden behind two large Willow tree beside the street. If one does not take a longer look, they would not notice the teahouse there. The walls were painted in white with brown wooden furniture, the tables and chairs were intricately made from woods and had unique designs per table. They had the counter on the first floor and their kitchen was behind the counter. The second floor also had the same design as the first floor but has tables that could see the willow trees closer. It would have a very beautiful view when the Willow trees blooms.
The man on the counter was wiping some cups and greeted us, but when he looked up he froze for a moment. He had a big build, like a knight or a warrior, and was wearing common clothes.
"Hello, I'm looking for my sister." I told him.
"Ah!." He looked flustered. "There is a customer upstairs that looked like you, that must be your sister."
I nodded and headed for the stairs when a very pregnant lady came out from the kitchen. She was holding a tray with a tea pot and placed it on the counter. It didn't seem like she noticed me so I continued up the stairs.
Athy was sitting by the window while the others were sitting around her in different tables. The knights were sitting behind her while the siblings were sitting on another table. She was looking outside the window where the Willow tree stood blocking the view further.
"Did you order for me?" I asked sitting down in front of her.
"No." She replied nonchalantly.
I stared at her.
"I'm joking." She rolled her eyes yet still did not look my way.
I stared at her unimpressed.
"Funny." I sarcastically say, making her snicker.
We sat there quietly, looking out the window and lost in our own thoughts.
I heard carful steps coming up the stairs making me turn towards it. The man from the counter made his way up the stairs carrying two trays with teapots and teacups. A woman following him was also holding trays with cookies and cakes.
The man placed the tray in another table and carefully placed the teacups on our table followed by the snacks the woman bought. After serving us, they also did the same thing for the knights and the siblings. They then stood at the end of our table and curtsied.
"Welcome to Tabby Tea. I am Francis Shalit and this is my wife, Cheska. We are the owners of this humble tea house." He introduced himself.
"Do have any idea who we are Mr. Shalit?" I asked. Of course they know who we are, I just want to know how people still view us.
"I am not sure which ones you are but I know that you are the ladies from House Castellan, my lady." He answered politely.
I stared at him blankly and nodded.
"You are speaking to the eldest lady of House Castellan, lady Melody Castellan and the youngest lady, Lady Athanasia Castellan." Sebastiene's voice came from behind them.
They turned to look at him who walked straight towards me and stood behind me with his pleasant smile.
The husband and wife were both stunned before they knelt in front of us. Athy looked over to the kneeling pair and released an annoyed sigh before going back to looking outside.
"W-we heard that the eldest lady of H-house Castellan is the vessel of the goddess Parsua." Francis looked up, adoration clear from the way he looks at me. "We give our heartfelt gratitude for coming to our simple tea house."
"Our coming here does not have anything to do with Pasua." I answered gently.
"Still we are deeply gratified by-"
His words were cut by a shriek outside.
They stood up and immediately looked out the window.
A lady dressed in a red revealing dress fell outside and started cursing.
"Damn Karciel!" She mumbled loudly and threw the bottle of what I think is liquor on the ground. "I'll get back to you, you bastard! You son of a bitch! I will bring you down one day!"
She spoke some more colorful words before she started sobbing.
"Madam Bloom?" Elaheh said standing up.
