We watched as Anderson closed the door behind him.
"Well.." Sebastiene broke the silence. "It is good that lady Cordelia moved on with her life."
"Ah.. Yes, she did." Haktor replied awkwardly out of daze.
"Her twins are currently priestesses right?" I asked to which Haktor nodded in response. "Then, they are both not living with the Wind clan?"
"Yes, all priests and priestesses are required to live in the temple of Lady Tribmaka." Haktor explained.
"The temple of Tribmaka is in Levanter right?" I asked again.
"Yes, my lady." Haktor answered.
"The temple is actually located on top of a mountain and anyone who wishes to pray has to climb up. Lady Tribmaka's current saint, Charlotte Nicole, stays there and only comes down during special events, like crowning a new monarch or when Lady Tribmaka sends her a task." Sebastiene added.
"But Lord Haktor," I looked at him seriously before asking. "How can we be sure that you won't betray us as revenge for your father?"
"The Wind clan have pledged our loyalty to House Castellan, my lady." He answered looking straight at me. "What happened between my father and your uncle have already passed. My father died in battle, we have already accepted our fates as soon as we pledged to become warriors. Mother never blamed your family and had accepted the death of my father gracefully. We do not have the need for revenge. We have nothing to be vengeful for."
"What about your aunt?" I asked him.
"She is happy with what she has right now." Haktor smiled. "She won't trade it for anything."
"Hmmm.." I nodded, accepting his answers. "By the way Lord Haktor, there will be special guests for your Knighting ceremony tomorrow. I need to leave to prepare for them. You may go back to the party."
"I understand my lady." Haktor said standing up.
"Thank you for your time. I hope that whatever happened before will be forgotten." I told him. "I am expecting your full loyalty towards House Castellan."
"Thank you, my lady." He said as he bowed. "The Wind clan will be at your side, this time as well."
Sebastiene escorted him to the door and he went back to the main hall by himself.
"Seb, send invitations to the saintess of Tribmaka, Sidapa and Parsua." I told him. "Tell them that they are invited to the knighting ceremony tomorrow."
"Yes my lady." He replied.
"Also send an invitation to Count Polit and all leaders of the clans, mayors, village heads and the king." I added.
"M-my lady, even if we send an invitation to the king right now, he won't be able to attend the ceremony tomorrow!" Sebastiene said trying to explain .
"I know." I smirked. "I just want to make them feel frustrated for it."
Sebastiene looked at me funnily before a devilish smile appeared on his face.
"Then, should I write the sending date as a week ago?" He said raising a pen. "I can make it that the invitation will be in the letter sorting inside the royal palace by tonight."
"That would be even more wonderful!" I smiled at him like he just said something amazing. "You are a genius Seb! When they see it dated a week ago, they will go crazy for missing the opportunity to come here!"
Sebastiene wrote the date on the invitation and sent it to the royal palace using his ability to open small portals. I could see the other side of the portal, it was night time and the letters were all piled neatly for tomorrow morning's check. Sebastiene inserted the invitation under some others. They would all go crazy when they read who the sender is and even more so the invitation inside!
I laughed at how subtle yet brilliant our ideas were.
"Inform the heads and mayors that we will open the portals inside Westreon, that way, they won't have a hard time travelling here." I instructed him.
Sebastiene merely nodded and added the information I gave before sending demon crows, his messengers, to all the heads and mayors of Westreon.
"Oh, inform Count Polit about the portal too." I added. "He can use the ones nearest to the border."
Sebastiene nodded, his memory is really good that he does not forget anything he hears.
"Send messages to the knights at the borders about it too, so they don't get shocked." I added again.
Sebastiene did everything that I told him. When everything was done, I stood up and walked to the door.
"I'm going to bed." I told him. "Inform my father and mother about what I did."
"Also, make sure to be presentable tomorrow." I said as he walked me to my room. "You know we have special guests coming."
"Yes, my lady." Sebastiene nodded.
We reached my room but before I could go in, a nervous looking Anderson came running.
"M-my l-lady." He said between pants. "Please s-stop lady Athy."
"What do mean?" I anxiously asked. "Where is she?"
"Please see for yourself." He stated. "She is in the back garden near the lake."
"Carry me there as fast as you can."I looked at Seb and raised my hands. "Go and inform Uriel, carry her there as fast as you can as well. Do not inform our parents. If they ask, just tell them that I called for my sisters."
"Yes my lady." Anderson bowed before turning on his heel and made his way to the main hall.
Sebastiene carried me princess style and ran like a freaking ninja on high!
I could feel the wind on my face and all I could see was blurred images as he ran at lighting speed.
In a few seconds, Sebastiene stopped. I looked up to see a barrier preventing anyone to go in any further.
I looked inside and saw Athy facing away from me. I couldn't feel any bloodlust or menace from her but I know it was all because of the barrier.
"Athy! Athy!" I called her several times but she did not seem to hear me.
I touched the barrier that was separating us. It was solid but I still tried to break it forcefully.
No result.
"Let me, my lady." Sebastiene offered taking off his gloves and touched the barrier with his bare hands.
"Athy!" I called again while waiting for Sebastiene to break the barrier.
"Sis!" Uriel called from behind me. She had arrived with Anderson. "What is happening?"
"I don't-"
Boom!
An explosion from inside the barrier could be seen from where we stood. The sound was muffled but being as close a we were, we heard it.
"What the hell is she so mad at?!" Uriel asked exasperatedly.
