Third Person POV
Hours later Dexter and Carla came back, then Gorg and Allie followed. Neexz stood up and waved at the Gorg and Allie. "Hey! We're all here." Which gathered the attention of the group.
"Oh they're here" Gemma.
"Took you two long enough!" Carla.
They all chuckled a bit before heading off inside the inn. Gorg calmly went up the receptionist to get us rooms.
"Two rooms for three please."
"Okay sir! Just sign here..." The receptionist took out two pieces of paper. "And... Here."
Gorg smiled a little and signed two of the papers.
"We're all set! That'll be ten silver!"
Gorg swiped his wristlet to see how much he has. His face suddenly turn into some-what calm to serious. Gorg gave Carla a look which made Carla come to him. They fist-bumped which made their wristlet glow.
Neexz was amazed yet confused and asked Gemma. "What're they doing?" Gemma chuckled a bit before replying. "Carla is lending Gorg some money."
"But they don't have to do that! I have a lot!"
"Yeah but we need to keep that a secret til the time we really need it."
"Is that so... Okay then."
Finally Gorg placed his wrist on a machine which is their way of paying. After receiving the key, the siblings walked infront of all the group. "Obviously boys and girls are the groups. Let's go!" Carla said before they gathered their stuff and went to the rooms assigned to them.
Allie's POV
We got in our respective rooms, cleaned ourselves and went back to the bedroom. It only has two rooms. A bedroom and a bathroom. It's not the best cause this is the only one they can afford.
I was born and raised in Gliho! My first travel was on Dezach. And yes, that was the day Dexter attacked. There aren't much casualties and damages was easily repaired. They were about to give G-Gorg and Carla some kind of reward but they refused it in exchange for imprisoning Dexter.
I wanted to go to Gliho to warn my parents of what had happened on Dezach. Gulran has been terrorizing the lands for far too long. All nations are ready to take his attacks any time. And I think we have someone to use to strike him now.
My thoughts were interrupted by Carla giving me a backhug. "Hey... Who are you thinking about?" I got flustered and turned around to face her. She wasn't that tall so I had to look down to meet her in the eye.
Her blue eyes is so beautiful! Unlike Gorg... Which looks handsome... I cleared my thoughts and glanced back at Carla still staring at me. "I was thinking about my parents..." I chuckled. "They're in Gliho and I kinda miss them."
Carla's face changed from being curious to sad. "I know how you feel... Hehehe." She faced downwards until Gemma came out of the bathroom covered with a towel. "Hey guys! Do you hear that?" All of us went silent til we heard Dexters' voice. "Neexz! Wake up!!"
Gemma immediately took a robe in the closet and all of us rushed to the boys room. Gemma quickly opened the door, she's not trying to hide it. Gemma's worried... A lot. "What happened!?" We saw Neexz laying on the ground passed out surrounded by us.
Dexter's POV
The room was nice and cozy... Unlike my cage which was made of steel! It's so uncomfortable. We all agreed to take turns in taking a shower. But when it's Neexzs' turn, he suddenly collapse halfway to the bathroom.
Neexs' bed is closer towards the door so he has to walk infront of me then passed Gorg. "Neexz!" I didn't knew what to do! Gorg stood up and stared at the both of us. After I tried calling his name over and over again but he couldn't wake up! "Neexz! Wake up!!" I couldn't do anything! It's not like I could lift him up! I'm not that strong and Neexz is way bigger than me!
Suddenly, our door bursts open, I saw Gemma in the most worried face you could ever see! She quickly sat beside Neexz and asked me, "What happened?!"
I was a child, I didn't knew what happened to him. I'm stuttering, voice is shaking and scared. "I d-don't k-know!"
Gemma set her eyes on Gorg. "Gorg?!"
His voice was cold! It's like he doesn't care. Is he always like this?! "I don't know... He suddenly collapsed infront of both of us."
"Help me get him up the bed Gorg!" Gemma said. "Carla take care of Dexter!"
Carla saw how much my hands were shaking and the fear I was going through so she asked me to go outside with her. I can't do anything but to accept! Nothing will happen if I declined... Shaking and standing in fear doesn't help either.
Carla stepped outside, followed by me. But before I could close the door, I heard Allie whispering something. "The heart of the cold one, is burning with vengeance."
It's weird but this isn't the great time to think about it.
By the time I closed the door, my hands were still shaking in fear. Carla stared at me with a confusing reaction. Her face is smiling but her eyes are worried. We went out of the inn and took another tour on the town.
We walked at took at good look at the town houses and guilds without muttering a word. But that didn't last long when Carla saw a poster about a two vs. two match against their best members. "Hey! This guild's giving out prices to whoever beats their strongest member!" Her worry soon turned into excitement.
"But I forgot how to fight!"
"It'll come to you don't worry!"
"Okay but don't blame me if we lost."
I got surprised when out of the blue, she held my hand and leaned closer to me and said. "We won't! I believe in you!" Before smiling and walked ahead of me.
I sighed and whispered to myself. "An angel indeed." Then I followed Carla to the given address.
Neexz's POV
Huh? Where am I? Hmm... I tried to look around to see where I am. A house?! I was sitting on the floor so I stood up. Woah! Am I this tall?! I tried to go somewhere when I felt a hug behind my back. "Uhg!" I felt little tiny arms hugging my waist. I turned to look at who it is to see a young girl. She looks familiar... I was shocked and couldn't said anything by what the little girl said. "Daddy!"
I remember something... "K-Kori?!" I lifted Kori up and hugged her. I remember now that Mae's my first born! I remember now! Suddenly Mae disappeared and everything went dark. In a distance there's a spotlight where I saw my whole family.
My daughters, Kori and Mae! With some woma- KIREI! My wife!! But why can't I walk towards them! I'm here! Just meters away! "Honey!! Kori!! Mae!!" But nothing... What's happening?! LET ME TALK TO THEM!! PLEASE!!
Suddenly I heard a loud cry. My girls... Their still young to grow up with no father! Please! Whoever brought me here let me talk to them! I tried running once more and tried to hug my wife. But I just phased through them. I couldn't believe this! "WHY!! WHY?!"
Once more, the scene changes. I'm now in front of a huge chapel with red a red carpet. I look around and saw that this world is so different... Why?! I was in that state when the chapel doors opened and saw my wife!
She's dressed on white, then it got noisy. People cheering, screaming and clapping. She's also... Pregnant?! She was holding to some man. But I can't see his shadowed face. Tears ran down from my cheek and knelt to the ground. "Why... Why would you make me see this..."
And the scene changed again. "What's it this time?!" I was back in the dark place from before. But there's no light! No nothing! Just black! "What is it this time!!" That's when a lot of rectangular screen appeared everywhere. "What's this?!"
I gazed at one to see myself with my family having dinner together. Kori help her mom, Mae was playing with me... We were all smiling and happy. Walked closer and stared at my wife. "Everything happened just days ago... Why does it feels like it has been years since I last saw you."
I tried to look at the others. Memories of the days I was with them. Everything but three screens caught my attention. The first screen I saw my daughters... They aged about two years now. They're in an alleyway with two guys way older than them... Than me! Suddenly, one of the guy carrying Kori gently placed her down. Kori's hands were tied and mouth shut.
The other guy followed and also placed Mae down gently.
"No no no! They're like nine and ten years old! STOP IT!!" It then repeated from entering the alleyway so I switched to the second one. They guy was saying something but I couldn't hear it. It was just then, the guy slapped Kori in the face knocking her out. The other guy whispered something to Mae which made her cry.
The guy who was carrying Kori pulled a gun from a holster and pointed it at Mae. I closed my eyes and again knelt to the ground. "Stop it..." I didn't had the chance to look at the third screen. Because by the time I opened my eyes, I was back at the inn with my head rested on Gems' lap.
I got up and glanced at my surroundings. I saw Gorg , Gem fell asleep while sitting with her back leaned on the wall. I carried Gem and gently placed her on my bed before turning around.
"Woah!" Allie is in Dexter's bed sitting and doing nothing but stare at me. It was just then... I saw tears fell down her cheek before bowing her head. Everything went silent before she spoke. "I saw everything."
I wanna ask how but I don't know what to do after seeing those horrible things. I went out the door but before I could totally leave I left I said something to Allie. "Don't tell anyone this please." I didn't look at her and closed the door.
