The moment Tanya walked in front of us, I felt someone hold my hand, and when I looked sideways, I felt so happy when I found my boyfriend staring at me as if I am the only one standing at the entire roof deck, and it feels my heart is hammering against my chest. And I felt so happy that even if I was not the most beautiful woman in this entire gathering, he gazed at me as if I was the most beautiful one.
"Hey, can I take you now to our table?" Ben whispered in my ear that made my entire skin covered with goosebumps, and I think I lost my ability to speak because of the happiness that I felt, he didn't even say hi to Tanya, and right now, my heart is dancing with joy. I only nodded my head, and he excused us from Maya, and I could see the smile on my best friend's face as she nodded her head on us, and then we walked to our assigned table.
