Maya's POV
I know Adonis is having a hard time, especially now; I know he wants to drive this car, and he will be the one to assist me in getting out of the car, but instead, it is the other way around. I don't want him to feel useless, and I want us to work, and I hope he will endure the awkwardness and accept the reality that this would be our life from now on.
I can't contain myself from stealing glances at his handsome face in the rearview mirror, and I can't stop myself from smiling as I remember the time when I was still in sixth grade, and he was in Junior High. He was riding his beautiful horse, and it was a gift from Don Miguel. I was on the stable helping my grandpa in cleaning the stalls since my grandfather was an all-around farmhand. I became more drawn to Adonis that day because he looked so hot riding on his horse, and Ariana asked me to come with them to the clearing since she already taught me how to ride a horse.
