"Why didn't you tell me about all this, Maya?" I asked as I show her the caregiving certificate, and my heart skipped a beat when she smiled sweetly at me, and I realized how much I miss her. We are now in the living room talking, and Maya asked all my medical staff to have a day off because she will be the one who will take care of me the entire day, and I know it would be awkward, but I don't want to offend her.
What she did was unbelievable, I never thought she would study caregiving just for me, and it made me realized how much she loves me. I am so grateful for this chance that we have right now, and I know my life expectancy is lesser than her because of my injury. If ever I will not recover, there is a strong possibility I will die ahead of Maya, and she will become a young widow; just thinking about it makes me feel so sad.
