Maya's POV
I was carrying a bouquet fresh from Esmeralda flower farm, and this time I know he can appreciate the beautiful flowers. I felt different when I entered the hospital. With my every step, I felt so much excitement and joy, unlike on the day he was admitted here to this hospital. I didn't get the chance to meet him that day because he was in the ICU. And only a family member was allowed to visit him. It made me feel devastated, but my undying love for Adonis is what keeps me going.
I only visited Adonis twice during his entire confinement, and right now, I wanted to run and meet him right away. I am so grateful that my prayers have been answered, and I am happier now that his parents welcomed me into their family.
