"You better put your things on a box now, Maya, because I just called Ryan's father. I can tell your boss has some feelings for you, but he can do nothing once his father instructs him to fire you." Madam Kriselda said after she got out from Ryan's office.
"I told you before that you must know your place, and I will remind you once again, wealth plus power equals success." She added before she finally left, and I was stunned, and I couldn't believe this is happening right now.
"Maya, Ryan wants to see you now in his office," Chelsea said, and when I raised my head, I found her looking at me with genuine concern on her face.
"Thank you, Chelsea, don't worry, whatever would be Ryan's decision, I will respect it and accept it wholeheartedly because I don't want Ryan to be in a very delicate situation," I said.
"Good luck, Maya." Chelsea declared.
"Thank you, " I said and let out a heavy sigh before I get inside my boss's office.
