I hurriedly got out of my study room, went to change my dress into my uniform.
I rarely wear makeup. But since today was a special day, I decided to do a little makeup.
15 minutes later, I came out of the room and went downstairs
I saw my father sitting on the couch reading newspaper.
'Doesn't he have work to do?' I thought.
I ignored him and walked towards the door.
"Wait" I heard my father calling me.
I turned around to look at him.
"Na-Ra, is this how you behave with your father?" He stood up from the sofa and looked at me with cold eyes.
If it was my old self, I would have never dared to look into his eyes.
But I am not my old self, I am a 40-year-old, world's powerful women. I looked into his eyes, said "Than how should I behave in front of, FATHER? " I emphasized on father word.
"Na-Ra, you haven't eaten breakfast. Didn't even greet me. Is this the manner I taught you? Huh," I spoke.
If it would have other days, I would have answered him with you never taught me anything in the first place. But today was a special day, plus I am getting late to meet him.
"I am sorry, father" I apologised with no sincerity.
Even though, he sensed my insincerity, didn't say anything about it. "This is the last time I am warning you. I don't want this mistake next time. Ok," He warned.
"OK, father," I said waiting for the permission to go.
"Now, go." He said though, I didn't sense any emotion in it.
"Yes, father." I bowed and went out.
Outside, the driver was waiting for me.
"Good morning, young miss." He wished.
I nodded and entered the car.
I remembered that today was the day I met him for the first time.
'Hehehe, I am so excited to meet him after 10 years' I giggled, not caring about my image.
The driver was looked at me through the front mirror. His face looked as if he has seen a ghost. The usual cold faced young miss is giggling and smiling, that's really unseen and unheard of.
After around 1 hour, I could see my school's building from a distance.
I was so nervous and excited that I can even hear my heartbeat pounding loudly. Something started running inside my stomach. I never felt this excited before not even when I had to speak in front of thousands of my employees for the very first time.
Slowly, My car stopped in front of the school gate. My school doesn't allow vehicles other than its employees to enter.
I was still remembering where did I first time saw him. DIdn't realise that we stopped.
"Young Miss, we arrived." The driver opened the door for her.
I came out of my thoughts.
"Hmm," I nodded and got out of the car.
The driver closed the car door and bowed to her. "Have a nice day, young miss" The he went to the driver's seat. The car slowly vanished from her sight.
I took a deep breath.
'From now on, my new life starts. With you.'
I smiled and walked towards my school building.
...........
Since today was the first day of school, the school first took our orientation.
As I entered the orientation hall, I looked around to search him in the crowd of students.
'Where is he?' I thought. As far as I know, we met inside the orientation hall.
As I was jumping and looking in the front in search of him, somebody tapped my shoulder. I turned back in irritation, about to shout. But when I saw his face, I became breathless.
'My lord is this real'? I shouted inside my mind. It was him, Park Min Jun.
I looked at him thoroughly. He looks the same as he was 10 years ago just his face looks little young. Obviously, he is still a teenager. His blue eyes were shining as always. His face was perfect as if God took a lot of time to make him. 'Ah, I can't believe he is alive and breathing.'
'I hugged him tightly. "I missed you, babe" I murmured.
I can sense his body stiffening but I didn't care. As if the time had stopped between us. I smiled in his embrace, smelled him. '
He waved his hand in front of my face. I came out of my imagination. He was looking at me curiously. 'Shit, that was all in my imagination.' I thought.
"Miss...." he looked at my name batch.
I noticed where he was looking. I hurriedly brought my hand forward to shake, "I am Kang Na-Ra. You can call me Na-Ra." I introduced.
He looked at my hand then my face in confuse. Then, he shook my hand, "I am Park Min Jun"
"I will call you Min Jun. Okk" I hurriedly said.
"ahh. sure" He scratched his neck. I knew he was feeling shy. He always scratches his neck when he is shy or embarrassed.
"So, why you called me?" I asked him even though I so much want to hug him and kiss him.
"Ahh, that... I want to ask whether this is the way to the orientation hall. I don't know the path since it's my first time here.." He asked.
.......FLASHBACK.....
On the first day of school, I was lost.
I was looking at the map. Then someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned.
It was him. That was the first time I met him.
"Is this your first in this school?" He asked.
I nodded. I was not the type to talk much. Maybe that is also the reason why I didn't have any friends.
"What a coincidence? It's my first time too. Why don't we both search around?" He said.
I thought for a second then nodded.
"Let's see" He took the map from my hand.
We looked at the map started moving as the map had shown.
............
"Miss Kang" He called me.
"Ohh yes, I know. Follow me" I said.
'How can I forget the first time we met? What a coincidence, even in this life he was lost and came to me' I thought as I walked in front.
"Wait" I stopped. I turned around and said, "What did you call me, just now?" I asked.
He raised his both eyebrows, realising something, "Na-Ra." He speaks.
I felt happy. Finally, I can hear him calling my name. My eyes turned blur. I hurriedly turned around and start walking. "Good," I said.
He followed me from behind.
We both entered the orientation hall, took the seat. He sat beside me.
"Don't you have any friends?" He asked, noticing that there was no one waiting for me in the hall as a typical friend do.
"No," I said.
"I mean, in this school," he added.
"No, but I guess I found one." I smiled at him.
He looked at me when I said that. He saw me smiling, he caught off guard with my expression. His ears turned red.
"That's good."
"What about you? Don't you have any friends, in this school?" I asked even though I knew.
"No, not in this school. Most of my friends are abroad." He answered.
"Then why didn't you go abroad?" I asked. This was the only question's answer he never answered to me in my past life.
It was normal for the heirs of the rich family to go abroad and study. Since, my father never considered me as an heir, he never allowed me to go abroad even though I so much wanted to.
"Just" He turned his head to look in my eyes.
"Just..." I raised my eyes in curiosity.
"NOW, WE WELCOME OUR NEW BATCH." The announcer started the orientation.
He turned his attention to the stage.
I was the only one left there in curiosity.
'What the heck?'
