Lying on the bed is the first thing that comes into my mind when we finally entered the vicinity of the castle. I looked in Lianno's direction, seeing his serious face looking in front, without any look of exhaustion on his face.
The car made a rapid turn, entering the wide gate, going inside. The castle can be seen right in your eyes. The gray and dark castle in a going down sunlight was engaging with the blue and the orange sky as the background.
The brick pathway going towards the castle was given the look of the 90's era. The castle is uphill, separating the main town and the main palace.
Entering the dark tunnel, revealing the huge green landscape in front.
Green shrubs were cut into circles and are formally arranged to have a matching size. Going out of the car, that's the first thing Lianno have done when we reached the front, turning around and opening the door on my side.
His hands went on my back, guiding me on going inside the palace. The servants formally greet us, bowing their heads. Isabela and Jea went to my side, getting my bag from me as they have a spare of black slippers with them.
"What are you doing?" I whispered at them as they silently bent on their knees changing my shoes into that slippers.
Isabela widened her eyes at me telling me to just go on with the flow. Pouting my lips, I nodded at her words, letting them do what they want to with me. They took care of my belongings.
The servants guided us towards the dining hall where Queen Carolina and King Lucian is sitting straightly, both of their arms were standing still on the table while they are talking to each other. When both of them saw us coming in, their posture and became quiet.
The atmosphere went cold scaring the servers who went inside first. Unlike before, the servants were walking in unison as their heads were confidently up.
Queen Carolina swayed her hands at the servants signaling them to leave. Me and Lianno were the only ones left after the servants left the room.
My brows furrowed, dinner is too early at this rate, so that must not be the reason. Lianno and I were both seated together on the right side. Facing his father who is seated on the left side.
Queen Carolina cleared her throat, making me startled. She placed both of her palms on the table, making the ambiance, looks more serious than usual.
"We are invited to attend Mary's Coronation next week," She informed us, her voice lingering with authority.
"A couturier will be arriving here tomorrow, be sure to be up by then"
"Yes, your highness" I bowed my head at her, seeing Lianno nodding and slightly bowing his head as well.
I left the dining hall after they permitted me to. Leaving Lianno in there as I think they have an important matter to discuss with each other.
My feet feel tired as I lay down in my bed. Jea and Isabela arrived 30 minutes after with a basin containing lukewarm water inside.
I looked at them in such awe when they went on my side, making me sit up. My feet fell on the lukewarm water, making me closed my eyes when a relaxing feeling of sensation hit my mind.
"We know you're tired, so this is the only thing we can do for now," Jea said while smiling. Gathering some water in the basin and releasing it on my calf. Isabela went behind me slightly massaging my back and arms.
Minutes have passed and the sleepiness that I'm feeling was hard to fight now. My mind is having a one versus one fight. Battling on either should I stay up and eat dinner or should I lay down in my comfortable bed and let sleepiness eat my mind as the rainbow of dreams will hug me.
And with the finality in my mind, I chooser the latter part. Bidding goodbyes to them were the last thing that I've done before laying down on my bed in a comfortable position, covering my upper body with the pastel nude comforter.
I went in bliss as I let the darkness eat me, going into the dreamland where peace is taking in. Walking up groggy, I looked at Jea and Isabela dumbfounded as they walk around the rooms giggling.
They were playing earlier right before I wake up. I yawned and turned on my right, hugging the long pillow beside me. I was about to sleep again when I heard a loud crash, making my sleepiness turn into the air in an instant.
"What happened?" I asked them worriedly as they turn their head in my direction, sorry was written on their faces.
"Wah! I'm sorry" Isabela panicked, apologizing to me as she starts cleaning the broken glass fragments on the floor.
I get out of bed and went to the bathroom to look for a small towel. When I succeeded in finding some, I went outside in a hurry. Placing the towels on the wet part to help absorb the water laying down.
Jea came in with a small broom as well as a dustpan and a plastic bag on her hands, helping Isabela with cleaning the small, scattered glass fragments lying on the floor that is hard to see with our naked eyes.
I went to the bathroom again placing the now wet towels and getting a new one. The vase was huge, so there is a lot of water inside of it. Going out of the bathroom, I saw Isabela still cleaning while Jea where brooming the floor to make sure that there were no small glass fragments left on the floor.
Picking up the roses that were left lying down. I moved towards Isabela's direction, going on my knees as I picked up those flowers scattered on the floor. I had to take extra precautions as they were just freshly picked and their own thorns are still with them.
I was about to pick up the last one when one of my fingers suddenly touched a thorn in between a rose, sinking it deep in my skin. I suddenly closed my eyes when I felt a pang of pain on my pointer finger. Seeing droplets of blood running on it.
