Denver's Pov
My days are getting lonelier each day. My life is getting more problematic as the day comes.
Its already past a month after the Photo of Rum and I kissing got leaked. The photo was still posted on public and we never bothered to delete it. Bob thought it can help us.
After what happened, it seems like I lost a most valuable item in my life. I don't know what to do, but it seems like My bestfriends doesn't carry the same vibe as him.
"are you okay?" Dhaine asked me, as I stared at the blank monitor of the computer.
"yah" I answered.
It was only Dhaine and the rest of my friends arrived early at the security room. our class dismissed earlier that the others, but Bob, nick, Rum, Lei and Ricci were still not around.
For we continued with our "come here separately".
I cant call or text anyone. My mother already bought me a new phone for me to use, but I don't have the phone numbers of Bob or Nick. As for Rum-
I lost contact to Rum Verdell Ocampo, after the incident at the Security office. I didn't dare to even talk or walk around with him. I'll more awkward when that scene happens.
We still have interactions, but it seems like the two of us are avoiding each other. A part of me wants to talk to him, while the other half doesn't.
Bob told us to continue the investigation on this issue. We cant let the issue of me and Rum stop us from doing anything. We're already halfway in this work. A few more weeks and it will be done.
"Still haven't talk to Rum?" Sue asked me, as she prepare the monitors we need for today.
I shook my head.
"I think you should at least talk to him. Let him explain perhaps?" Timothy said.
"I've been trying to do that. But he's also avoiding me" I explained to her.
"Maybe in the future you can" Sue simply answered, then left me a smile.
My relationship with Rum Ocampo has changed greatly. I don't mingle with him that much anymore.
After Nick and Rum switched. Nick became my partner for how many weeks. I don't know who thought about this Idea, but I want to thank them. They currently slowed the issue about the picture.
I remember the first day after they decided to do the exchange. I was very nervous. Thinking that I'll be seeing Rum Ocampo again, the guy who accidently kissed me, (I don't really know if it was accidental) will continue to be my partner. Stay close to me everyday, 8 hours a day +2 hours of investigating.
Even the seating Arrangement was affected. I no longer sit with Rum during class. I don't ask him for help anymore. Only if Mr. Delo Santos ask us both, as President and the assistant. But even the teachers avoids us to get close. (maybe they saw the pictures)
If it reached the teacher's ears, what could it get worse than being seen by the principal. Who's also Rum's mother.
but I wont deny the fact that my second year life was messed up. I hope I didn't react overly. To cause such riot.
"it was a good thing you didn't talk this past Weeks." Johan said.
"How did it become a good thing? Johan" Blanche asked him sincerely.
It was a rare thing to see Johan talk. He usually just sits down during the Investigation. He is always silent and staying cool.
"the DHT page has died down." Johan said. "and it can help us solve this issue faster."
He explained how the person behind this all would think. He or she can get easily revealed, for others are no longer interested in her Tea.
"You're kind of Right Johan." I told him.
he smiled with Joy. Its very rare for me to compliment others. Especially if you're my Best friend. Although I'm not a cruel person to insult you.
Its just that I don't specifically Love or hate you.
"but how can we exactly do that?" Timothy asked.
"Let Bob explain" I told them, emotionless.
"ok. but wait-"
"what?"
"where are they anyway? Its almost six!" Dhaine said
"Right." I answered her.
We've been sitting here for almost an hour. Only my friends and I is around. We cant do anything without Bob the leader.
"They will arrive later." I told them, which they believed.

I wasn't wrong at all.
A minute later someone went inside the security room, arguing with each other.
It was Nick, Lei, Bob and Ricci talking about something. Which I believe was a very serious since they were shouting at each other.
Bob came in first looking serious. then Ricci followed.
Ricci: Everything is possible bob, you said it yourself.
Bob: But we've proven it before that its not her.
Ricci: You got it wrong.!
I don't know what were they arguing about.They argued a little more, when Lei entered the scene.
Lei: This is impossible. she comes here everyday?
Everyone who entered the room, sounded like megaphones. Talking like no one else was at the facility.
My friends only stared at them and acted like we didn't exist.
Ricci: the security record isn't mistaken.
Bob: I know I'm also confused
lei: Are we all sure it was-
Ricci: Rein! yes.
I was Alarmed to hear Rein's name get mentioned again. I've already told everyone not to involve rein in this topic.
My friend Rein has a huge family problem. The reason she can't go to school that much, but she attends from time to time. To take exams, even though she didn't hear the teacher's lecture.
I stood up and asked them.
"Wait, guys." They didn't listen to me and continued arguing.
Lei: but she's our friend.
Ricci: Your Friend. I don't know if she has any grudge with us. Or Them.
she pointed at Rum and Nick who entered the room silently. Good thing someone has respect.
Nick came closer with Rum on his side. It was awkward at first, but I managed to smile at them.
"Nick can you tell me what's happening?" I asked him.
"ask them yourself." he replied.
I tried to ask Bob, Ricci, and Lei, but they didn't listen to me. Finally Dhaine Interrupted.
"Guys!! Can someone Explain this to us!" She shouted, her voice can be heard all over the room.
Everyone stopped talking. even my friends who didn't care also stopped. Finally Bob faced us with his face not leveled.
"Denver, I know you believe that Rein isn't the person behind this. but even if we also believe, evidences lead to her." Bob said.
I turned to Ricci who was looking furious.
"Care to explain?" I asked her.
Ricci and I are currently in good terms, so she should answer me honestly.
"we went to see the security records, to see if We can find any suspicious subjects in there." Ricci started. " and went to see the Tardiness record."
"and?"
Ricci didn't continue to talk so instead I asked Lei to continue.
"We didn't see Rein's Name in any of it"
I'm so sick of this thing. They keep on accusing friend of mine without any evidence before. Today, they said they have an evidence. Let's see what kind of nonsense will they tell me.
"so?" I replied.
"which means, she was never late."
"and?"
"She lied to us about her family problems!"
"and-" I was stopped when I heard what she said. rein lying to us? About her problems? i shouldn't believe all of this.
"but don't worry Denver." Lei continued." There could be any possibilities why she wasnt on the list."
Right! I know it wasn't Rein. Her innocent face is not at all close to being a backstabber. I've known her since I was still in a relationship with my ex-boyfriend.
It was already getting Dark, so i told them to continue this talk tomorrow.
"Okay. Lets talk about this tomorrow. For now, lets finish it quickly and go home."
They believed me, unexpectedly.
We started with our everyday discussion. every time they talk about Rein, I quickly change the topic. which they believed.
We discussed about our plans, and suspects for quiet some time until,
It was finally time to go home.
"Lets, go guys! its time to go home!" lei announced happily.
