Denver's Pov
When we arrived at the canteen no one was still there. It was still 11 o'clock but Rum said we should have lunch.
We have a lot of choices from where to sit on this canteen since it was still very empty, but we decided to sit on the back portion. The same seats we used on the first say with my friends.
Speaking of friends, I already told them I have to eat lunch with my groupmates for we have to talk about something. I guess Dhaine had a better Idea.
Among all of us, this girl have a lot of cool ideas. My squad was in the same section, after they registered together and chose to stay in the same section. The reason I wasn't in the same section as them because of the issue last year.
Dhaine gathered everyone and told me, that they are going to occupy the table beside us. Dhaine said, its for the sake of the squad eating together at the canteen. Overall Dhaine, Sue, Timothy, Blanche, Johan plus my Groupmates, left the class early.
these guys are also good at sneaking out.
We all fall in Line to get our food, and as usual my friends got the same food they usually have every Monday. As for Rum and the rest of them, I don't know what they usually eat. To be honest this is my first time seeing Rum eating in the canteen.
Since He usually stay in the Library every Break time. I don't even know if he eats lunch.
We sat down at the table we put our bags in and started eating.
I told them that they should eat first before we talk since we need food to think and all. My friends also already asked the people at the canteen if we can connect to tables so all of us can eat at the same table. (So Smart friends, Good Job!)
My friends told me to don't worry, they are only going to listen and Dhaine will try her best not to ruin the conversation. I hope so. I have trust in them.
I forced myself to eat a small amount of food, just a little. I thought
I don't want to ruin the rules I made for myself at the start of this schoolyear. I only told you 2 of them, so I'm telling you the rest of it now.
I call it Denver Commandments:
#1. Be an Early Bird
#2. Eat on Time
#3. Find Proper friends. The ones that will not betray you.
#4. Be friendly to others
#5. Be joyful if necessary. Be strict if you want.
#6. Be strong. Try to survive this schoolyear
#7. Be a good student
#8. Don't forget to have fun.
#9. Respect others. Greet teachers if you made an interaction with them
#10. Try not to slap a teacher this year. Especially your adviser.
Those were it. I don't want to Break even a single one of them.
So far this schoolyear I still haven't broken even a single one of them. Luckily this year I have control over myself. I'll try my best not to break them, the hardest one there is Number ten.
I only ordered one cup of rice, and a soup. I am in no mood to order 2 cups of rice and countless food.
I lost my appetite earlier.
The question was still in my mind. Who in the world would follow us around the mall and take pictures of us. Did someone hired them to be a paparazii.
"Why are you not touching your food?" Rum asked me worriedly.
"I'm Full. I lost my appetite." I replied angrily.
"I think you should eat a little." Rum insisted.
I argued with Rum saying I'm full everytime but he still argued back. It ended when Dhaine started talking.
"No wonder, everyone is acting like a paparazzi towards you guys" Dhaine gigled. Johan elbowed Her.
I don't want to keep this argument to keep going so I just started eating. Seriously, since when did Rum became my father?
When everyone was halfway with their food, I started the conversation.
"Ok, who did that?" I raised my right eyebrow.
When I told them that, Everyone panicked and started talking at the same time.
Nick: It wasnt me. Seriously.
Bob: dont get angry denver please!!
Joy: I didn't even know it happened.
Ricci: I'm out!
Lei: no! No probably not me!
Rein: I was just at home during that time.
everyone started arguing. Blaming each other, they fought against each other about who did it.
On the other hand my friends was all silent watching us.
"Guys! Stop" Rum shouted at them. Luckily not even a single class has ended and the canteen was still deserted and only us were the only living organism there.
When Rum shouted everyone went silent. I know and maybe even Nick and Bob, that Rum's shout was Half-meant. He doesn't usually shout at other people, but it still made everyone quiver in fear.
"Denver, I was the one assigned to finalize the editing of our video and I didn't see that pictures there." Bob explained.
"Yes Rum, I also made the credits scene and it wasn't there." Lei added.
I know this guys Did their best on the video. I'm in no position to blame them about the last part. We just have to find the Culprit behind this.
"I know its not you guys I have trust in you" Rum told them.
I also have trust in them. but we just have to find who's behind all this.
"Its so vey odd. that among all videos, Yours were the only ones that were Changed" Rein told us.
Yes very odd indeed. Who would do this to me. I've been a good friends (but sometimes I still manage to make a few enemies). The person behind this followed us around the mall two weeks ago, maybe this person has a build up grudge against me or maybe towards Rum.
My friends told me, they're not going to talk, but still they did. I mean it was Useful though.
"Maybe the person behind this hates someone between the two of you. Denver and Ocampo" Dhaine said.
"Just call me Rum" Rum answered. Everyone's mouth widened.
Maybe Rum already trust my friends and everyone in this table. Because he's Letting them call him by his first name. The first name, only Nick, Bob and just recently Me, call him.
"Ok, Thanks. Rum then" Dhaine said calmly. This girl cant hide herself from me. I know his Dying inside.
"Maybe, your ex Rum that cant accept the Break up?" Dhaine asked.
"Or perhaps, a person who hates Denver from hanging out with Rum?" Blanche started talking out of nowhere.
"Or both" said timothy.
I appreciate my friends helping me in this, It can be both though.
"Rum's Ex?" Nick asked.
"the one you broke up with before the class starts?" I asked Rum. He was all silent.
"No it can't be. It was all just Rumors. Rum is NGSB" Bob told us.
"NGSB?"
"as in NO GIRLFRIEND SINCE BIRTH"
"Isn't it NBSB?" I asked.
"Whatever"
"You haven't experienced any relationship?" I told Rum, trying to hold my Laugh.
Rum Blushed from embarrassment. but still putting his Brave face.
Dhaine continued " So, if its not about Rum's Ex then-"
"Its someone who hates Denver then" Sue interrupted. Then Both of them started arguing.
"I can be" I told them. I was deep in my thoughts when I looked back, I noticed They were all staring at Ricci, who was still eating.
"What?!" Ricci Asked. "Oh, Don't tell me You're all suspecting me?"
"Yes! Of course" Sue told her.
Indeed. I still remember you coming for Denver at the locker Room!" Dhaine said. I cant believe my friends were all suspecting Her. well, Its my fault. I reported everything to them.
"I also agree Ricci" Nick siad. The others nodded in agreement.
"What?! I didn't even know they went to the mall! I cant believe You're all suspecting me" Ricci Protested.
They started arguing with each other again. When finally Ricci Stood up and walked out.
"Opps, She's guilty I bet." Dhaine said.
"Guys I dont believe its Ricci." I told them.
"What?!Why?" Everyone said it in unison.
"She's been very helpful to me these days, and also very considerate. She's not the same Ricci in the locker Room." I told them.
"GIRL, She's been acting strange lately. Even I noticed it." Blanche told me.
"She's a problem child" I told them. Ricci ones told me when we talked about her family not being supportive at her. Since then, My view of Ricci has change.
When I told Everyone about Ricci. They felt bad.
"You should say sorry guys" I told them. Even my Proud friend Dhaine gave in.
"So its not Ricci" Bob asked
"No"
"Which means our problem is not solved. We still have to find the one behind this. I know he wont stop easily!" Bob said.
"how do you know its a he?"
" I dont!"
Bob continued." we will help each other. But can I ask the two of you?"
"Sure" I told him.
"Since when Did you start going out together?" Bob asked suspecting us of something.
I looked around, noticed everyone was also looking at us in the same way.
Maybe Rum wants to save me when she diverted the topic.
"Do you want to go to the library? Everyone is almost here." The other kind of forgot about the topic when they said Yes.
We all got up, and headed for the library. That was also when The Bell ringed which mean Lunch Break.
