Star's POV
I was laying in the bed when I heard the door open. I could smell sweat. "Hi Jacob," I said glancing at him.
He closed the door. He had something in his hand, but I didn't pay any attention to it. "I brought you a blanket," Jacob said getting in the bed.
"Why?" "Your skin is cold, so I brought you a warm, fuzzy blanket." "Thanks, but I don't need it." "Yes you do, plus you slept so peaceful last night."
Jacob covered me with the blanket. I took my arms out from underneath the blanket. Jacob and I both laid there in the bed. We didn't talk to each other. I tried to fall asleep, but I couldn't.
"Jacob," I whispered. "Yeah." "I can't sleep," I said sitting up in the bed. Jacob sat up after I uncovered myself. "What's wrong?" he said looking at me.
We looked at each other for a good two minutes. It looked like he was coming closer to me. "Star, I..." Jacob said coming closer to me.
Our lips almost touched, I felt his hand on my leg. I didn't move at all, it felt like I wanted to kiss him. Jacob and I both kissed each other, his lips were like ice cubes.
He bit my lip and I bit his. He moved my body closer to his. We kissed for a good whole ten minutes. Jacob stopped kissing me and looked in to my eyes.
"What's wrong?" I said. "I gotta go," he said getting off the bed.
Jacob opened the door and left the room, he paused and came back to look at me. "I'll see you tomorrow." Then he closed the door.
Jacob's POV
I left Star's room and I went to mine. I closed the door and locked it. Your so stupid! Why did you leave her! You've always had a crush on her! Now she's not going to like you anymore! I said in my head.
I face planted on my bed, I thought about Star.
Star's POV
I touched my lips, they were warm with dry blood. Something changed inside of me when I kissed Jacob. I don't know what it was, but it gave me this tingling feeling.
It's been three days, Audrey watched me fight Alex. He moved very fast. I would always trip because of him. Alex let me punch him a couple of times.
The whistle blew. Alex and I stopped fighting. "Nice work you two," Audrey said. "Thank you mother," Alex said. "Thank you," I said. "Dismissed," Audrey said.
Everyone scattered. I went to my room. I glanced over at Jacob's room, his door was still closed. I went in to my room. When I passed my bed, I smelt perfume.
"What do you want," I said. "Something's different about you."
I turned around, "What do you mean?" Audrey looked me up and down. She walked towards my bed and sat down.
"Well, for one, your boobs jumped up a size." I looked at my chest then back at Audrey, "So?" Audrey grinned, "Do you like anyone Star?" "No."
Audrey stood up and walked over towards the closet. "You will," she said going in to the closet.
I sat on the bed. "I know that you and Jacob kissed."
I froze. Did Jacob tell her?!?! Was she spying on us?!?! I thought.
Audrey came out of the closet with a light blue dress and pointed to the lamp.
I looked closer at the lamp, there was a camera inside the light bulb. I looked back at Audrey. "Put this dress on."
I stood up. When I touched the dress, my clothes were on the hanger. "Let's go," Audrey said leaving the room.
When I walked out the back door, there were five limosines parked. Everyone was huddled together.
Audrey motioned me by her. When I stood by her, she had a big smile on her face.
"Ladies and gentleman! Tonight is the day, that we celebrate with the others. You are free to have fun, there will be no fighting tonight. You all may leave," Audrey said.
"Come with me Star," she said going in to the limo. I followed her. The door closed behind me. As the limo started to move, I noticed that Audrey was sitting really close to me. "Are you mad that I kissed Jacob?"
Audrey looked at me, "No, matter of fact, I don't really care who you kiss." "Where are we going?" "Somewhere fun."
Ellen's POV
I was washing the dishes when I heard Cece scream. I turned off the water and rain in to the living room. "What's wrong!!" "There's a spider!" Cece said pointing to the insect.
I laughed, "I know your friend Felix is a spider." "Dang it! I really wanted to scare you," Felix said. "I'm not afraid of spider's," I said wiping my hands on my apron.
"I told you!" Cece said.
Felix transformed back in to a human. Felix has brown hair and brown eyes. Cece and him have been best friends since kindergarten. Felix is a witch, he always makes me laugh.
"When is Star coming back?" Felix said. "Couple more days," I said going back into the kitchen.
Star's POV
The limo came to a hard stop. Then the door opened. Audrey left the limo first, then I got out after her. "This is the Grand Hotel."
I looked up at the sky, it was still dark out. The building was so tall, all of it's lights were on, it was so pretty.
I heard Audrey yell my name. When I walked in to the hotel, it was crazy! People were upside down! Walking on the ceilings! People were dressed for a Halloween party! There was a banner hanging that read: WELCOME SPECIAL ONES!
Special ones? I thought. Am I a special one? The word special stuck to me. I tried to have a good time but, I couldn't. For some reason, it felt like I wanted to vomit. I ran to find a bathroom, but everywhere I looked, there was no bathroom!
I bumped in to a boy, we both locked eyes. The boys eyes were brown, his hair was brown too, he was wearing a tuxedo.
I tried to say something but I couldn't. "Are you okay?" the boy said. I shook my head no. "Come with me," the boy said holding out his hand.
I looked at his hand, I wasn't so sure that I could trust him. But, something inside of me wanted to go with him. I grabbed his hand. The boy smiled and took me with him. He took me were it was quiet. We went into a small room, there was a queen size bed, two bed side tables on each side of the bed. Across from it was a t.v. stand, but no t.v.
"Are you okay?" the boy said behind me. I looked around for a bathroom, then I closed my eyes.
"I think so?" I said opening my eyes. The boy walked past me to get to the middle of the room. He turned to face me. "I'm Nathan by the way."
"Star," I said looking down at my feet. "Never met anyone with a name like that, did you fall down from the sky?" Nathan said. I looked up at him and we locked eyes again.
Jacob's POV
I walked in to the Grand Hotel and looked around for Audrey. I found her at the bar talking to some people. I walked over to her, "Mother!" Audrey looked at me and smiled, "Jacob you're here!"
"Where's Star?" "Stop worrying about her, and go have some fun with the others," Audrey said shooing me away.
I turned away to look for Star. "Jacob!"
I turned my head in the direction of the voice. It was Alex. He motioned me to him.
"I thought you said that you weren't coming." I shrugged my shoulders as I looked around for Star. "Have you seen Star?" I said sitting down.
Alex looked at me, "No, why?" he said grinning. "Guess who's here?" Katherine said standing in front of me.
Alex and I both looked at her. "Blake Taylor," she said moving to the side. I looked in front of me. Across the room, standing next to a girl was Blake Taylor.
"He's not supposed to be here!" Alex said. "He's with a snake," I said standing up.
Katherine walked next to Alex and looked around. She looked at me, "That's the snake who works for the Doctor." "Find Star, and make sure that that snake and the asshole don't see Star," I said.
Star's POV
Nathan and I got along really well. I found out that he's part vampire too. Along with a witch side and dragon side. He said people like us came from Saturn, and no one knows that we're from a different planet because humans still believe in aliens.
"Why are we called special?" I said watching my legs dangle off the balcony.
I seen Nathan look at me, then he stood up. I looked at him. "Stand up," he said.
As soon as I stood up, Nathan was rolling up his sleeves. He showed me his wrist. There was a symbol. "Those symbols." "This symbol is called the Special Saturn because we came from Saturn." "How do we get the symbols?" "When you know how to work your sides, then, you get this symbol."
It was quiet for a few moments, until one of us broke the silence. "I think someone's calling you," Nathan said.
I looked at him, then all of a sudden the door burst opened. We both looked to see who it was. It was Katherine, she was wearing a black dress.
"Star, we have to go," she said. "Why?" Katherine hesitated. "I smell a human," Nathan said.
I looked at him, he was looking the other way. Katherine grabbed my arm and pulled me away from Nathan. "Wait!?!" I said stopping in the middle of the room. Katherine looked at me.
"Who's the human?" Katherine let go of my arm, she took a deep breathe and exhaled, "Blake Taylor."
My jaw dropped opened. He's still alive, I thought. "He's here with a snake, who happens to work for Doctor Royal." "Does she know that I'm here?" "The human is getting closer," Nathan said standing next to me.
We looked at each other. "That human stinks," he said looking at the door. Katherine went towards the door, I went by the bed and got on my hands and knees. Nathan went outside. I put my head down on the floor and closed my eyes, my heart was racing.
I was still on my hands and knees when I heard a knock on the door. I opened my eyes and waited. The knock came again. I heard a small whine. I slowly lifted my head up. Katherine was laying in front of me in her wolf form. I seen the sparks in her eyes. I couldn't tell if she was scared or not, but I knew that she wanted me out of here and somewhere safe.
I slowly stood up and walked to the middle of the room. "Wait," Nathan said grabbing my hand. I looked at him, the tips of his hair was blonde. He looked at the door then back at me.
"Don't open the door, come with me, I will protect you Star." I looked at Nathan, I didn't know what to say to him. "You have to get out of here Star," Katherine said.
"I'll take her with me," Nathan said. "I'll call you Star," Katherine said going towards the door.
I looked at Katherine, "Be careful." "I will," she said.
I looked back at Nathan, he was out on the balcony. His dragon wings were out, they were red and black. I walked towards Nathan, he put his hand out so I could grab it.
"Take care of my friend," Katherine said.
"Hold on tight," Nathan said wrapping his arms around my waist.
I grabbed a hold of his tuxedo jacket and I buried my face in his chest. Then the next thing was that I wasn't touching the ground anymore. I didn't look at all, I just kept my face buried in Nathan's chest.
Katherine's POV
As soon as they left, I faced the door. I was worried who I would find on the other side of that door. I walked slowly towards the door, I was still listening for the knock to come again, but it didn't. I put my hand on the door knob and I turned it slowly.
I heard a noise in the hallway. I opened the door and jumped out of the room and in to the hallway.
"Good God Katherine!" a girl voice said behind me.
I turned around to see Clarissa. Clarissa has long, curly, red hair, and blue eyes. She was wearing her long dark red dress, and her silver heels.
"Sorry, I thought your sister..." "What about me sister," Clarissa said interrupting me. "I thought your snake of a sister was coming to get Star."
Clarissa looked at me. "Rachael's here? The one that works for the Royal's?" she said crossing her arms. I nodded. Clarissa scoffed.
"Where is Star now?" "She left with another special."
Clarissa turned around and started to walk. I ran to catch up to her. "Do you know where they went?" "No, they didn't say, but I told Star that I was going to call her," I said. "Well then, looks like we have to find Star, protect her, and make sure that she is fully trained," Clarissa said looking around.
I knew that Star was in danger. It's my job to protect her and to keep her safe. I also knew that Clarissa was ready to fight anyone who comes in her way. She will tear them to pieces if she was in her wolf form, but when she's not in her wolf form she's really good with knives and swords.
Clarissa went to talk to her vampire sister. I went to find Alex and Jacob.
