A loud buzzing was the first thing I recognized as my conscience started to flash in and out. There was so much pressure on my head I thought it was being squeezed by some hydraulic press. I could not hold a single thought.
- No! - a voice far away startled me. - Not here!
My eyes were hurting so much I had no strength to open then and the lights were so bright it was only making things worse.
- They don't have the time! - a familiar voice brought me back again. The Officer sounded angry and very close.
- We don't treat their kind here.
- This is ABSURD! They have a concussion and I can pay, just let us in.
Something was happening, she was arguing with someone very loudly. I pushed myself to open my eyes but the best I could do was open a thin crack that didn't allow me to get a full picture of where we were, it only let me see the Officer's chin from below.
