"AH! MY SHOES! GOD DAMN, YOONWOO! You should have held the can tightly and more properly Yoonwoo!" Andrei exaggerated as he pulled his hair in frustration. "I just got this brand new white shoes yesterday! And now it's all wet because of the sodaaa."
"Ahhhhh… It's all sticky and uncomfortableeeee. Why? Why? Why me of anyone else in this room." She cried out like a child. He stared at Kim Eunji, before sighing.
The two of them just stared at each other for a while. Not until, Eunji started to put up a derp face.
"Are you thinking that the soda should have just spilled to my shoes? Is that why you stared at me right after you finish up what you said?" Kim Eunji raised an eyebrow at Andrei.
"Huh?" Completely flustered, Andrei just blinked at Eunji.
"This man, really! Sighs… don't you talk to me the whole day, alright?! Tsk." Eunji flicked her tongue.
"W-wait? What? I did not even do anything! I was just staring, what's so wrong with that?!" Andrei claimed, drawing both of his brows together.
"Didn't I told you not to talk to me? You really not listen, do you?!" Eunji gave Andrei a death glare. The one with her bulging eyes staring back at him creepily.
Yoonwoo's eyes and Ye Beom's met as Andrei and Eunji quarreled on the background. They stared at each other. It was as if there's a strong magnet that's forcing them closer.
Before the air gets all awkward, Yoonwoo averted his stare first. He grabbed a new soda.
"Hey. Hold that properly this time. Got that?" Ryuji nudged Yoonwoo's shoulder on a friendly manner. Thought Yoonwoo did not utter a word, he just nodded at Ryuji as a response.
After opening the soda, Seo Yoonwoo took a big gulp out of it. As if desperate of washing the formed big lump stocked in his throat, "Ehem, ehem!" He cleared his throat. Still avoiding Ye Beom's gaze.
"Are you okay?" The beautiful and elegant looking lady asked Yoonwoo, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Do you still feel unwell?"
"Un… well?" Ye Beom immediately covered her mouth when she realized that she just jumped-in to someone's conversation.
"Hmm? Ah, yes. Well, thing is… Yoonwoo here, hyperventilated last night. It was a moment after Andrei, and Eunji went up the island." The beautiful lady explained.
"Ah, oh… Was, it because of me? I—" Even before she finishes her sentence she was cut off.
"It is all nice to meet you. I hope for you immediate recovery." Seo Yoonwoo bowed. A voice that sounded all gentle, yet an expression that says the opposite appeared on his face when he lifted his head back before picking up his things.
"I think I should go first. Thank you for inviting us again ma'am." He, then beamed a bright smile on Ye Beom's grandmother sitting near the window.
"Ohohoho… That's nothing! I would be glad if you all could come again!" Grandmother Dae Hee replied happily.
Yoonwoo smiled widely, "We will be pleased. I should keep going now. Thank you for inviting us, once again."
"Careful on your way back, man!" Bid Andrei, as he munched on the chips that Eunji is giving him.
"Careful your face, you're going with me, idiot." Then Yoonwoo giggled as he linked his arm on Andrei's shoulder. "We gotta make a room for the two that will be arriving here, any moment from now."
"But I had a plan with that squinted eyes!" Andrei protested.
"Nah, then your plan has to wait. You are coming with me." Yoonwoo ended dragging Andrei with him as he glanced at Ye Beom, who's also looking at him, for the last time before leaving the room.
"Well… What was that just now?" Eunji asked lost in what just happened. "Hey Haneul, did the two of you fight?"
"Huh? No. As long as I remember, we didn't." The beautiful and elegant lady answered.
'Kim Haneul… wow she's so beautiful." Ye Beom thought in awe.
"Is… that so?" Eunji faltered. "Even so, he shouldn't have dragged Andrei with him like that though?" Then she shakes her head in disappointment.
After that, Eunji directed her attention to Ye Beom and then asked with a worried look, "If you wouldn't mind, can I ask you about what happened that night?"
The two of them stared at each other.
"I… Don't know. I can't explain it either… all I can remember is that, I was at my friend's— I was relaxing in the tub." Ye Beom's busy eyes keeps on going back and forth as she tries to recall what happened.
"But then when I opened my eyes, I was at… at…" She gasped for a breath. "I was at… huffs, huffs, huffs…"
Ye Beom looked up, meeting her grandmother's eyes. Her eyes swarming in tears, her hand clasped together. Ye Beom looked down slowly, "Where was I? I-I… c-can't remember."
"Which is the thing that you don't remember? The name of the place?" Ryuji Michaels consulted.
Ye Beom nibbled on her bottom lip, "No, it's not like that."
'Damn it. I'm forgetting something here. I swear, I was just thinking about how I get back home just from earlier.' She thought to herself, when she suddenly gaped.
"How… I get back home. Three months. Yes, that was what I was thinking of when I woke up." A smile crept up to her face. "Three months… I was someplace within that three months! That, I can remember."
"But you just went missing for three days, my dear." Grandmother Dae Hee voiced out.
"No. No, that can't be… I know it was three months—"
"My dear, is this because you were heavily injured?" Her worried grandmother asked. "Is this why you're talking about such nonsense?
"I myself… don't even know what I'm talking about right now. But… but I can feel it. I— It feels like I left something behind." Ye Beom defended her stand. A line appeared between her brows. She sighed.
"How's Dianne?"
"She's currently staying at our house. She was too afraid to go back to the hotel room after what happened to you." Grandmother Dae Hee said.
"And why was that?" Ye Beom asked with a puzzled look on her face.
"Because, it was said that during the time that you disappeared, no one came in, and came out from the door." Grandmother Dae Hee answered.
"Was… that so?" She replied calmly.
"Now that I have told you what needs to be told, I'll be going now." The grandmother said as she picked up her things. "I should keep going now. I hope the four of you youngsters would be able to get along."
She said before leaving all of them by their selves.
"Yes grandma! You should take care of yourself! And tell Diane to come and visit me too." Ye Beom smiled brightly.
"I will keep that in mind then, my dear. And oh! I'm happy that you have learned how to speak Korean fluently."
"That's because brother Eunhyung taught me well!"
"Eunhyung? Is he your friend from Canada? I should meet him soon."
"Eunhyung… Ah… Ahahaha… who am I talking about again." Ye Beom laughed nervously.
"Is that so? Then, good bye." Grandmother Dae Hee bid them good bye before closing the door.
Ye Beom sighed. 'Eunhyung, huh? What a familiar name.'
"Haaah… this day can't get anymore weirder. I keep on blurting out names of people I don't even know, to begin with, don't I?" Ye Beom groaned, then looked at the three persons left with her after she ended her sentence with a half-smile.
