Luna's POV:
I was waiting for Noah to show up in my cafe. But that jerk really made me to wait for him for about 30 minutes! I was getting really pissed off!
The doorbell rang and I looked behind. Noah almost came running to me. He was literally panting.
"So-Sorry Luna! Actually the tyre was punctured and I had to hire a mechanic then I left the car and just came running to you--"
"But I just saw you coming by your car in the CCTV footage! You started running from the parking area! Look the computer screen behind you!", I interrupted him when he was lying pathetically to escape from my rage!
Noah stood there like a statue for sometime, totally flustered.
"Um, well, I....," he was stammering.
"It's fine. It's good to see you still make awful excuses like before! It's good to see some people still remains the same!", I replied proudly while sipping my coffee.
"I am very sorry! I know you must want to kill me now and I am so ashamed that I am ready for the death!" Noah was literally bowing in front of me.
"Ahh, then you must know that I don't like overdramatic people! Come sit here! Let's talk!", I invited him to sit opposite to me in a cold voice.
"Really? Did you really forgive me for lying?" his eyes were shinning with joy.
"No. I thought of chatting with you for 1hr but as you dared to lie so the time will be reduced to 15 mins!"- I had my signature cold smirk on my face.
"Ugh! But 15 mins is too short! Atleast give me 30 mins please..," Noah told me while excitedly sitting on the chair near me.
I was staring at him. It's been 12 years, but his nature still looks childish enough like before. The last time I saw him was when we were parting our ways from school life. I actually never thought we will meet again! I guess the world is really small.
"Woah! The coffee you are having looks so magnificent! Can I have this coffee too?"- Noah asked me like a small child asking for chocolate from her mom.
I smiled a bit, "you are still so childish Noah". I requested a coffee for him too.
"I missed your smile," Noah replied me suddenly in a low voice.
I was looking at with a dense gaze. Though his nature was still childish but I can't deny that he has matured enough too in hiding his emotions!
"How are you? How you have been all these years?", I asked him while sipping my coffee.
He silently looked at me and chuckled.
"Just living a life and fulfilling the duties of a owner too!"- he answered me slowly. "How are you Luna? And who was that prick we met yesterday?" his eyes were looking very curious.
"Ahh just someone I know"- I tried to divert the topic.
"Really? But the way you were talking to him, it seemed like you have known him from many years!", his eyebrows were frown while talking to me.
"Yeah! More than 50 years," I murmured.
"Huh? What?"
"Nothing just kidding. Let's stop talking about him.
Don't you have girlfriend or fiancée? Afterall you are the popular Mr. Han Noah for whom girls used to die!"- I tried to taunt him with a small smirk.
"Oh please! It's much more peaceful to live alone!", he tried to act more matured.
"Look who's talking! The mighty Han Noah who used to date a new girl every week in highschool!", I tried to tease him a bit while smirking at him.
He smiled while looking at me, but somehow his eyes were filled with sadness.
"After meeting you, everything changed in my life. I became a better version of myself. I am forever grateful to you", his voice sounded a bit husky.
I don't know why but I felt as if I have heard this from him before too! Did I knew him in my past life too?
"I don't know Noah, why I feel ease around you! It feels as if I have known you from a long time!", I blurted out suddenly.
Noah was looking at me with a deep gaze, "even after our separation, I have dreamt of you many times! But the dreams were a bit weird! It seemed like I am watching you but in the same time it felt I am watching someone else! I don't remember those dreams clearly, but I am indeed very confused! It made me feel like I think I have met you in my past life too!", he was speaking very mystically.
"Ah that's not possible! I never met any annoying bug like you in my last life!", I was grinning and teasing him.
"Huh? You are calling the CEO of the most renowned publication as annoying bug! You are brave indeed! But well, only you are permitted to call me that. I would never mind!", he chuckled while saying.
"Well it was good to see you again Noah. Life has been very stressful for me nowadays, but I am a bit relaxed now," I complimented him honestly. He indeed made me relieved from my stress a bit.
"Okay then let's exchange numbers. I will be just a phone call away from you if you ever need anything," he took out his phone from the pocket & placed before me.
"Hey, why I will give you my number?", I asked him very sharply.
"Because now atleast I want to act as your friend! Not as acquaintance anymore," he answered me quite boldly.
I gently took his phone and while dialling my number I coldly replied- "Don't even dare to call me unnecessarily! I am a very busy person you know!"
"Sure Ma'am!", he grinned while answering.
I walked him upto the parking area. It felt like I met a kind person after a really long time.
"So I will be off now Flower princess!", he greeted me while leaving.
"Hey stop calling me that! I am not an highschool kid anymore!", I was sulking.
Suddenly his smile faded from his face. With a deep gaze he said, "Luna! Just be careful around that prick! He gave me a really creepy aura! If he tries to bother you again, call me and I will surely chase him away!"
"Gosh! What do you take me for? I am national level Judo champion, not any weak fragile girl who will be chased by any creep!", I was boasting myself proudly.
"Sure! I believe in you Luna! Take care! I will see you again!", he waved at me while getting inside his car.
After his car left, I was still standing there with my mind full of questions.
"Why did I feel that I have heard that from you before too? Why it feels that you have been always by my side from a long time!
Did we really meet in last life too?"
