Lune rolled her eyes in apprehension as she quickly sensed that something dreadful must have happened with his absurd shriek. She stared at him intensely and gulped down her saliva while clenching the bed-sheet.
Alex disconnected the call instantly but his arms were shivering. His eyes looked filled with tears as if his heart was shattered into pieces with some unknown confrontation.
"Al-Alex? What's wrong?" She quivered in a scared tone.
He stood silent and frozen for some minutes being in a daze. After a moment of silence, he turned his head sideways towards her and whispered in a low breath, "Tarzan... My Tarzan died..."
"What?" She squealed in shock with a frigid gaze. "Why? How?" She couldn't even utter a complete sentence as she was well aware of how much he must be broken inside with the devastating news.
