Stephanie ran after her. She grabbed Jennifer's hand but this time a bit tighter.
"Yes, I might be sentimental and easily get emotionally attached just like you said but you are aware that I have never wanted to save someone as much as I do now," Stephanie said in a cool voice.
"Stephanie...,"
"Please save her. I am begging you," Stephanie pleaded a bit more sincerely.
"If you think my pleads are not enough then do me a favour hmm," Stephanie pleaded with not only her words but with her eyes.
Jennifer almost thought she was dreaming when she heard Stephanie's pleas.
She turned and gaze at Irene. Irene's bewildered expression confirmed that this wasn't a dream.
"I am sincerely asking you this Jennifer. This might be the first and last favour I will ever ask you so please don't say no".
Even though Jennifer wanted to keep on saying no, Stephanie's pleas made her unable to do that.
