Goddamn it! I still got slapped despite promising Steph not to let mum hit me on the face today.
Gabrielle thought holding her face which felt like it was on fire. Mere touching it, she could tell that it was swollen. The nanny who has seen this sight quite often felt so terrible for the Young Miss. She could never get used to how harsh the Madam treats the Young Miss.
"Mum, I beg to take my leave. I will drop by some other times when you are not this angry," Gabrielle said turning to leave.
"Gabrielle, stop right there," Mrs Adams ordered fiercely.
"If you had asked for something else I would have gladly done it. No matter what you do or say, I just can't stay away from Steph. I am deeply sorry, mum. I am sorry," Gabrielle said before she walked away.
"Stop there, Gabrielle," Mrs Adams shouted after her.
