"I might not know how sincere she was to you about every other thing but I am aware that her feelings towards you were a hundred per cent genuine. She loved you in a way I have never seen anyone love another before, so don't you dare say Steph played with your feelings," Gabrielle retorted.
Gabrielle kept on talking hoping her words would soften Vincent's stony heart but that didn't happen.
He refused to see reasoning no matter what she said. In less than twelve hours he had her thrown out of his hospital room five times but his actions didn't discourage Gabrielle.
Instead, it made her put more effort into the mission at hand.
At about 2: 00 a.m. the next day Gabrielle called Charlie's line despite that it was quite late. She had been feeling uneasy for a few hours and she knew she wouldn't get peace of mind until she confirmed that Stephanie was alright.
