"Earlier she could have easily seized the weapons from him and even harm him if she wanted. She had the power to avert this misfortune that befell her but Stephanie couldn't bear to do that..." Irene trailed off.
Her eyeballs turned murderous when the scene of the earlier incident replayed in her head.
"She didn't want to force him to do what disliked and most importantly she was afraid of hurting him further. Just like us, I am certain she gambled everything including her life on his love for her but he failed as you can see," Irene raised her voice as she gestured at where Stephanie lay.

"That's enough Irene. Don't say any more to her, I am afraid she won't be able to handle it," Jennifer stopped Irene from venting on Gabrielle any longer.
