"Let's hurry, Felicity," Gabrielle urged her and instantly led the way towards the elevator.
On the ground floor, Gabrielle bumped into her mother who also was in a haste just like her.
"Where do you think you are going to, leaving your sick brother with no one to take care of him?" Mrs Adams demanded after she carefully examined Gabrielle.
"Mum, can we talk later? I am in a hurry to..."
"And what could be more important than your sick elder brother whom I heard is yet to wake up?" Mrs Adams retorted just when Gabrielle wanted to dash towards the hospital's entrance.
"Have you forgotten how he always abandoned everything and rushed to stay by your side anytime you fall sick? How could you be so uncaring when he is the one lying bedridden now?" Mrs Adams scolded harshly. Mrs Adams didn't care that those that accompanied her heard everything she said.
