Bella who wasn't aware of this raised an eyebrow. She leaned back against the couch and focused her attention on Stephanie's face.
I thought she was acting edgy because she was desperate to hide the truth from Jennifer so how come she is admitting to being mad at the same woman she begged me to bring them closer to each other?
Bella was in deep thought as she waited for Stephanie to say what was on her mind.
"I heard the bullets were meant for me so why did you interfere and got shot in my place?" Stephanie challenged her fiercely.
The sternness of her voice coupled with the fold in between her forehead showed she wasn't putting on an act.
"Don't you know how to value your life?... What if you had died....,"
"Hehehe...," Jennifer chuckled amidst such a serious conversation.
