She changed her position on the bed so that she was lying on her side. This way she was able to get a clearer view of Bella's face.
"I also shared the same belief as you but I don't know why things played out differently. Maybe I need to visit the mansion and go through some more scrolls to obtain more information about this curse," Bella who was as clueless as Stephanie replied in a calm tone.
"I was able to escape narrowly twice when the pains kicked in but I don't think any excuses will work if the pains kick in again...," Stephanie trailed.
The mere thought of going through the hellish pain or even worst pains made her shudder.
"If that is the pain I have to endure until the curse fully kicks in, I would rather you kill me right now than go through that again," Stephanie grumbled.
She sat up on the medium size bed and parted the hair she had messed up earlier.
