"You make it sound so easy and that is because you are not me. You are not the one who went through that hell and that is why you empathise with her and I can't blame you for that," Stephanie accused in a fierce tone.
"If you were the ones in my shoes, I am certain you would have empathised with every human on Earth including heinous criminals ebur not her. She is the last person on Earth whose feelings you would have considered..."
"I know you had your fair share of misfortune but the Leader wasn't different. She was also suffering back then when you were going through turbulent times. You were the only source of light in her dark world and that was why she cherished everything that had to do with you," Irene defended.
She refused to yield to Stephanie knowing too well that this might be her only chance to set things right.
